skipper wrote:Good one Blockie, no love fests here unlike what is happening in Blockville between your footballers and any female that moves around that town. I see you seem to be a little worried about Willaston and its potential problems. I hear that on Tues night they all stood around Baker and hit him with foot long metty sticks just to get him fired him to give you metty breaths a flogging. Don't know if it will work. My tips are Blockies (how could you not considering all the factors), South to end Nuri's run, Kapunda to cement Freeling on the bottom & GC the run riot over Ango. Blockie big call on the tiger pups if the bigman and Fiegert are out.

Ain't that the truth, not enough import allocations he has got to be kidding. If Freeling wanted more players they would have got them and parked them on a farm in a caravan. Leal just isn't a very good coach, he is badly missing Prouse on the sideline and he has lost control of his team. Some massive problems out there that need to be solved. Good rain with good grain prices may see another big rebuild next year. Unlike most clubs that rebuild over 3 or 4 years Freeling will try and do it in 1 with the cheque book.

Blockie, You asked about the South/ Nuri Game and I say Nuri to win. South are not in a good sate and a lot of work needs to be done. Problems like the one's they have can't be fixed in a week. Nuri look to be getting the wheels moving and are a dark horse for 4 spot.

Take it that you two won't be putting in any bids for the Drovers Run then!!

A fairly strong story circulating that Scott Leal may be targeted by Broadview next season. Since he has a strong connection with D. Wintle who is retiring from league footy and some ex North Adelaide boys, it sounds like a possibilty . It does appear that it will probably be from Div 2 and the word is that this may be the best way to get them back in Div 1.
Interesting!!!!

Please explain these 'problems' Holden06...I am around the team alot and to say that the team is in a bad state is simply ridiculous...

Lets hope not as we need them as a comptetive unit for the benefit of the association, BUT I do see that the Adelaide Plains might be looking at even out their bye...there isn't any chance they might jump ship...is there?? Skip, can you enlighten us with any information, you seem to be on them money over that way??

From what I have heared that the coach is sick of all the arguing on the ground. I have also been told that some of the players are sick of the players that are not training both night and getting games. At the level of footy team like that will never win a flag.
