What are you playing for the next day though?
If you're not in with a chance of winning it, you can understand the some guys won't be taking the competition as seriously.
Noone remembers who came third or fourth.

We would all agree. But I wonder how the organisers of there team feel.
Heaps of time money and effort must go into putting these rep teams on the field
These carnivals shouldn't be treated as end of season trips just becouse you got beaten

Bull sh*t Hardpuncher
I know every thing that goes on in the Cobby footy club and NOT one player from Cobby is being paid NONE , NOONE , ZIPO,
We are doing the same as Moorook are doing with Todd Rivers and that is paying Friddy $25 fuel money ,as Moorook are paying Todd's fuel. ( Not Cobby footy club money. A Sponser )
If you know or was told by a Cobby player that he was getting paid at Cobby well then he is full of SH*T and just big noting himself.
If as you say that you got it straight from the horses mouth NAME them.
If you want a private chat about it and want to name some names for me then by all means just let me know where and when?
I have been at the Cobby footy club since 1969 so i rekon i know what goes on

As for the slow mo No training required I still got what it takes even tho i am 30kg over weight lol

Some of the Legends got a bit serious Sunday. Rumour has it that the Super Dogs nay not agree to playing it again.

Did you play Cod Master if so can you confirm it got a bit rough

Superdogs were playing to win and a few of them were overly serious.

They forgot that the day wasn't about them and about the Make a Wish Foundation and the crowd came to see Kerley and the former legends not them.

If the Superdogs wont play ball I am sure a game between Riverland Legends and Independent Legends would be ideal and give more blokes an opportunity to be part of it.

Moorook v Lyrup game is huge this week.
If Moorook wins, it will be pretty hard for Lyrup to get double chance.
If Lyrup wins, it just needs to win every game for the rest of the season and they are all very winnable. No matches v Cobdogla for the rest of the season, only a tough one against Paringa.

I agree with counter punching, the officials put alot of work into the months leading into these carnivals its a shame to let them down as well as the players concerned, whats wrong with finishing with a bit of pride!

Whillas Medal favourites anyone?

Nunan (BM) will poll well early, Storic (B), Tape (W) and Bennett (R) are my picks.
Adam Bryant (R) the dark horse.

Howard Duthie Medal:
Horsell (C), Tilbrook (C), Lloyd (P), Evans (W).
Jeremy Payne (EM) the dark horse.

For the Whillis medal I also think there could be a few good forwards this year taking votes. pickles Arnold has been performing all year taking great grabs And even his brother Tim has been puting his name up there week in week out. I also think that ben Venning for Waikerie had great form dominating alot of the early rounds but i think Waikerie has to many other blokes taking votes away!

Horsell will win the Howard Duthie Medal over Tilbrook due to the fact that Horsell has been supplying most of Tilbrook's goals this year im presuming...

I don't doubt that Horsell supplies Tilly with a lot of goals, but Tilly is a bloody good footballer who's been having a pretty good year.
Missed a few games early that might cost him though.

more than enough blokes in cobby's side that supply Tilley or anyone else for that matter
not reliant on one or 2 blokes i wouldnt think
think there is alot of guys would be doing better than horsell
just from cobby alone you would have tilley vagg thomas wegner hendo crowe smyth just to name some all taking votes from each other
would take a standout year for someone to win it from cobby imo
would think someone from another side that stands out and gets alot of second pref votes will win it

Heard they had a few injures out that way

My tip for the medal is Brad Horsell in a canter
