Selections for this weeks round.

Gaza v Gepps - Gepps in a close one away from home.
TTG v Broadview - TTG shouldn't have any problems with the soon to be Div2 Tigers.
Goodwood v ROCS - might be closer than expected but Goodwood still to get the points.
Pt Dist v Salis Nth - most players have overcome injuries at Dist, if they want to play finals footy this is a must win game, being at home they should get over the line.
Henley v Seaton - Rams lost a close one last time they met at Seaton but since then the wheels have fallen off, can't see Seaton getting within 10 goals of the Sharks at Chardonnay Pk.

Absolute disgrace Henley F/C deliberately giving Seaton no hot water to shower after both As & B grade games.
You can't tell me that wasn't a deliberate act, it was like the umpiring in the Bs a f***'n joke.

That is a joke NM
no club in their right mind would even think about doing that
get a grip and accept your club's demise for 2008

Ash Man, your post doesn't make sense. What does NM need to get a grip of & which club are you suggesting is his club in relation to the hot water given we know Seaton is his club

Your entitled to your opinion Ash Man & i respect that but as far as i'm concerned knowing the rivalry & hatred between these two clubs i have no doubt it was a deliberate act from the chardonnayers.
I know Seaton wouldn't lower themselves to that standard.
If the hot water service was playing up at Seaton atleast the opposition would be told prior.

Sorry Nm trying to be devils advocate, but if it is the visitors rooms only then how would the home team know they had no hot water? I am aware of the rivalry between the clubs but its pretty ordinary to do something like that which is why i am throwing doubt into it.

NM, it wouldn't be the first time they've pulled this trick. It raises it's head every so often at Shark Park, been done to us before.

Capt, yours could be considered the only 'upset' of the round [i know it wouldn't be to you ]. did Gaza have an 'off one' or are GX getting there, if so are they peaking to soon? any room for improvement?

Happen to run into Matt Illman down at Sportsmed today, tore his achilles two saturdays ago and will be out for the rest of the year and some of next year. Unlucky for the Saints to lose Matt and I wish him well in his recovery.
How is this going to effect Goodwoods chances of repeating especially against GAZA and Banton.

I'm tipping Gaza is the least of their concerns. Gepps Cross has a few clubs in the five a little jittery, Gaza are just making up the numbers like they do every year in the finals

Moz, to use an old chestnut, "one week at a time". the lads are getting to know each others traits better each week, there may be a couple of clubs getting the jitters but the next couple of games will give a better indication. I think there is plenty of improvement left especially when Kingsley Walker starts to have more input, he is a class player.

making up the numbers? That is outrageous. They have been one of the main forces in a1 for the last decade..

Bubbula, I have said repeatedly they are a force to be reckoned with in the minor round however crumble when it matters most. Those stats over the last decade do not lie regardless of what I think of them. Your memory is a little short, in that last decade they were also a main force in A2. The "making up the numbers" jibe was at their finals record.

I did once play at Gaza, I know this. But regardless of there poor finals record they usually do hold a strong position in the finals.. Alot of teams choke come finals time but by the way you talk, your saying Gaza only just scrape into the figure.

Big call here guys......GX will win the flag this year!!!!

They are just starting to show what they can deliver. New blokes have taken some of the pressure off the Clonans and Smiths and Challens. i don't think they will lose more than one more game for the year.......
Harsh but fair.....
