Good call on Johnson. I can't believe this 'short career' talk. Don't expect the majority of test players to have uninteruppted careers because it just doesn't happen. Lee struggled for years to get it right. Johnson will step up when it is needed I am sure of it.

ROD/REB are turning towards MALS darkside with WATTO :? :? :?

The guy plays for Australia. Should I want him to fail just to 'score a point' on the Internet? I want Watto to do well but for me the jury is out until he can stay fit enough to earn a baggy green, and them perform in one.

Good call
Gaining Internet merit points is a distant second to supporting players who wear the baggy green.
When Shane plays for QLD let the games begin

Ah, you see this is why Rodney Fowler and myself bag Watto. Watto is several kinds of 'what if', or several kinds of 'maybe' but several kinds of awesome he is not. Remember boys and girls real cricket is played in White clothing and it is in this garb that the Watto starts rolling out the donuts and pulling the heartstrings.

Ricky Ponting will become the third Aussie to return home early from this tour with a tendon injury to his right wrist. Michael Clarke becomes Australia's 18th ODI captain, and youngest since Kim Hughes.
David Hussey will make his debut in the fourth ODI, Australia's only change, while the West Indies have named two debutants. Batsmen Shawn Findlay will replace Andre Fletcher, while left arm spinner Nikita Miller comes into the side at the expense of Sulieman Benn

THE DAVE 50 on debut :prayer: :prayer: :prayer: [51 balls]

For a while the newspapers had this headline ready
" GAYLE FORCE WINS..."
Big Chris was pulverising the ozzies until WATTO tricked him with a slower ball OUT 92 [92 balls]

And that last over was the cometh of the man

The IF cricketer is now an IS cricketer

Just as a conclusion to the tour, Ricky Ponting has undergone wrist surgery and is not a certain starter in the Aussies next contest, a ODI series vs Bangladesh (why would he rush back  ). Ponting had surgery to repair tissues that hold the tendon in place
