Because the TBFC think they are the best team going around and at the moment i would say MPFC is the best and that means that TBFC would probably get beaten :-({|=

I have been told to inform GG that the reason TBFC won't join PLFL is because the last time they did they won the spoon and the following year won the flag in the GFFL. I have no idea if this is correct just passing on a message from a highly respected previous poster!

Thats what i thought GMH !!
Although with both current teams as they are, would be a great game to watch...

DJD I pretty sure MPFC only joined in 81 aswell.
Does anyone know how many A grade flags they've won since then?
Would have to be atleast in the double figure's I would of thought....

If they both win the premiership this year then they should play a game to see who was better?

pfft CMH the TBFC reasons behind the refusal to join the PLFL is rather simple it has to do with netball following football. Since these two sports in PL do not see eye to eye then It won't be happening anytime soon. With all these reviews and fourms on the directions of Country sport in SA, when push comes to shove somebody could be left out in the cold

Started browsing thru it before and will finish off later. Gee they were pretty strong in the early years weren't they with all those flags.
Well done to the organiser(s) of the site and to the Club for sticking it out thru all those years

See Ports can lay original claim to Roger Dunn

Port Neill won plenty of premierships including the last three in County Jervois.

However Ports are only celebrating 100 years of football at Arno Bay. I suppose Port Neill will have their opportunity in a few years time.

Would TBFC's leaving of the PLFL because it was to hard be the reason that there is the MPFC today?

Anybody going up for the Country Champs ?

What is people's prediction on where EP will finish in the Championship?
I predict they will finish either champions :D or runners up... :)

Anyone else?

With the drastic improvements of the Northern Cities and Murray Mallee Barrier Barossa teams I can't see EP getting into the top two.
Maybe third.
