Owen Love is a great player and I would also like to see him get a few votes on the night if bays can win a few more close ones he should pole a few more, Its always hard to pole a high amount of votes in loosing sides.[/quote]

Unfortunately with the rocket scientists we have for umpires I am sure they will mix the two twins up and award votes to the wrong one. As far as I have been concerned votes are awarded to the top three players on the ground; not the top three players on the winning side - this is an idiocracy on the umpires behalf. How can you use this to divid votes when teams are winning and losing by a kick?

With umpires being supplied by the competing clubs in the B Grade for most of the year it will be interesting to see if this effects the make up of medal night. My guess is that it will be more accurate because the umpires know the players better, on the other hand if an umpy has a favourite that he gives votes to each Saturday it might make it lopsided.

In saying that ive thought the standard of the B grade umpiring has been very good. Every game ive watched the umpiring has been unbiased, they let things go and play run and its been enjoyable to watch! The lack of over officiating is welcomed on all levels!

Special mention to Paul Collier for continuing to put his hand up to umpire in the B grade. Hes a great club man and gives so much to the Willunga Football Club as junior coordinator as well as taking his time to do this job!!!

I think that the B Grade umpiring has been of a better standard than the other grades because of the likes of Paul Collier. Yank has Greg Whiltesea, Pongy has one of the Hutchinson's. All of these guys have played footy and know whats going on

Some fairly big news out at Saints training tonight (32 on the track). The push to re-locate the footy club as well as all of the other clubs in the complex out to a brand new high tech facility is well and truly on the cards. The site is out past the Glendale school and would include state of the art lighting, new and separate surfaces for all sports and a central community style club. Do the sums: The council can sell the current land a spend a pretty big sum on the new facility and still be well and truly in front. A great idea from my view. I wonder if the need a real estate agent to sell the existing site?

Joking! Its great news, I hope you go ahead with it - will be great for the comp.
Also would put more pressure on the clubs like Encounter Bay in terms of holding South Adelaide games if done correctly. Cuzzy are the Bays doing anything?

thank f%$k, now atleast when away teams play goolwa we will be able to shower. bloody joke at the moment. As for the bay there has been talk of a massive redevelopment at the end of this year. Think gov grants have a fair bit to do with it but not sure. I think you will find most clubs start heading down the direction of upgrading their facilities. Atleast lighting should be on most clubs lists. Be able to have night games at more than one location would be great

Last year it was mentioned that Encounter were renovating their club rooms at the end of last season, yet nothing has been done to date. The council had already approved the reno's and were putting up some big coin for it. EB need to act pretty quick otherwise the council may withdraw the funding!

32 on the track is a big night considering the week off and the clubs position at present, any new faces?
The Saints already have one of the best playing surfaces in the GSFL, a new oval with seperate playing surfaces for all codes it can only get even better. I can already see a new home for the GSFL grand final and night games in the years ahead.

a new home will attract some new fresh faces but do the saints have any points left for new fresh faces, might need to get rid of some this year and next year to make room.

Sorry Cuzzy but the current visitors rooms will be transferred to the new complex. 32 was good numbers Kappars, I think everyone thought we would be mucking around and doing goal kicking comps and then they got a rude shock when we actually worked hard.

By the time a new home is built and up and running with surfaces and building structure it would be a couple of years, they could retain all recruits and by the time new facilties are up and running these players will be zero point players allowing them to continue recruiting. This was ssaid early on when the points system was all the talk that for a club to continue to build from year to year it would require all locals to return and as many recruits as possibly to stay on long term.
