AU chasing 244 for victory
MARSH B EDWARDS 0
The moment 5-34am Adelaide time
30/6/08
GAYLE to WATTO he sweeps for 4

WATTO 102* [106]
13X4
1X6

WATTO now in a select if only group
Pura Cup double century + a o/d International century

As I have said repeatedly give this guy top order opportunties and he will prosper
He now averages closer to 40 opening for Australia
Compare that to the expliots of Gilly/Haydo when opening and its on par wuth those greats

I wonder how Haydo feels
KAT makes back to back tons in the Tests
WATTO makes a ton in a o/d International

AU 1/175

I am suprised it was only 30% he went of his trolley at the ump! It was something more accustomed to social cricket than international cricket.

Yes well Batted Watto.
Just on being able to swing the ball Mal, I fear a short career for young Mitchell Johnson if he doesn't develop an inswinger.

Johnson is a worry. He hasn't progressed at all in the past 12 months. In tests he bowls too wide of off stump and he has very little variety. Will need to improve significantly and in a hurry.

The guy plays for Australia. Should I want him to fail just to 'score a point' on the Internet? I want Watto to do well but for me the jury is out until he can stay fit enough to earn a baggy green, and them perform in one.
