I can't believe how you are writing the Eagles off in this game. Dogs are not travelling well and in my opinion are vulnerable with the loss of Thomas a big out.TBH at the moment the Dogs are paid far too much respect on reputation alone.

This seasons fast turning into one of looking within for us Eagles fans . Yeh we want to win on Saturday , but who can remember a year starting 0~4 at home ? Probably approx. a decade Id guess , since we have been this poor , so with each lose the frustration is building . No disrespect to the opposition each week , but we need to start focusing on why we have slipped so far & whats to be done about it .

A very very slim like chance in hell that they can lose 2 in a row .

Good to see the junior state players return, finally. Surprised to see Passador named - that may see Schwarze with a run in the reserves. Once again the team looks good on paper... now just to see how it goes on field. Disappointing to see no Cicolella in either side - injured again?

With what has been said about Passadors' injury, surely this is just a tactical ploy to name him in the side? If he really is picked, I hope it's not too soon. He still has another 4 goals to get for the club record, and a possible season ending hamstring tear I don't want to see. And at last we get to see Broadbent back!

This is going to be great game. Both teams points to prove, so I think it could be close with the dogs getting up by about 4 goals.

Hey Footy Fans,

Here is Centrals line up for the clash with the Eagles this week. As we can see, there is a 3 changes to the side that lost to the Glenelg Football Club last weekend. Great to see Ian "Nutta" Callinan back (that's if he does actually play), Luke "Sponge" Cowan come back in after a few impressive reserves games and also pleased to see selectors reward Crow's rookie James Moss with his league debut.

CENTRAL DISTRICT FOOTBALL CLUB LEAGUE SQUAD
SATURDAY 28 JUNE 2008 Vs EAGLES @ WOODVILLE OVAL

Full Forward: Luke Cowan, Daniel Havelberg, Ian Callinan
Half Forwards: Chad O'Sullivan, Heath Lawry, Luke McCabe
Centre Line: Elijah Ware, James Gowans, Adam Switala
Half Backs: Trent Goodrem, Daniel Schell, Brad Symes
Full Backs: Andrew Hayes, Yves Sibenaler, Richard Cochrane
Rucks: Jonathon Giles, Ryan Williams, Matthew Slade
Interchange: Jason Mackenzie, Scott Dutschke & James Moss

So from what I can gather, these are the changes to the side...

INS: Ian Callinan, Luke Cowan, James Moss
OUTS: Paul Thomas (suspended), Justin Westhoff (Power), Cam Faulkner (omitted)

I like the look of the team this week and hopefully the side can bounce back with a good win over the Eagles down at Woodville. We will miss Thommo's ball winning ability through the midfield but I guess it gives young Mossy his opportunity at a higher level after some consistant form in the reserves over the last month or so. The key will obviosuly be to play consistantly over a 4 quarter period and if that happens, I think we have the cattle capable of winnning well.

I really look forward to getting dwon to Woodville on Saturday (even though I'll be on crutches as I might have a fracture in my ankle from basketball last night !!??) and helping out with LifeFM's around the grounds reports again. See ya there people....

GO U DOGGIES...

We don't get the ressies side released by the club....

I usually read the paper pretty early in the morning on a Friday and post the 2's on here as soon as I can...

Why do you ask, wondering about a player in particular ? I might be able to help you out ???

Yes, Dirty Leeds Boy, I too am of the opinion that there should be the unveiling of the first "away" cake, maybe a Parfait or a Blancmange? OR a PLUM cake! First of all, we should secretly meet 'afore the game at a secret location to discuss baking further....what about The Woodville Hotel at 12pm? Don't tell anyone else....except for JMO & associated rabble.
