MKFC didnt drop the wunkar game last year because that would be stupid, deliberately losing games. the senior members of the team would never let that happen, they all want to win every game they play regardless.

i cant say rodney hanAkin dropping any games deliberately either, strikes me as the sort of bloke who strives to do his best with every game and backs his side to be able to produce the goods against any side.

i agree with Crushy. No team in country footy would 'tank' games and any call otherwise is out of line.
Just for the record, I hate the word 'tank'. It's got the gay.

Tribunal was last night, not sure of the outcome yet.

Aston broke his leg against Cobby last week. Just one of those unlucky occurrences I think.

East Murray's Bradley Francis got 4 weeks.
Lyrup's Bradley Healy got 2 weeks.
Both for striking.

Will be great to see Mods back up here, and will no doubt drag some interest from outside the area especially with the Roo lining up at the other end. I could be wrong but the last time he played was in 1990, the year he kicked the goal on the siren to draw the GF. Should be a cracker of a game with the top two sides sluggi ng it out.

Given the game is at Waikerie, Renmark would not have that much to gain by having Mods for just 1 game, i wonder who is putting the $$$ up to get him back?? Afterall i would think Waikerie would benefit more (home game) than Renmark. Thoughts?

It is hoped that Mods and Roo will return next year when it is Renmark's centenary match.

did CN make the ruling FS?
if not why would you say hes kidding?
if the struck player did really break his jaw in 2 spots as was previously posted int his thread he must be able to handle himself if he can retaliate at all, 18 or not! If he didnt strike back surely LFC could find enough witnesses to state that.

My understanding is no EM players were reported and the Lyrup player in question was reported and red carded. Therefore I am assuming the Lyrup FC reported the EM player.

I love how people are saying it's great for the R.F.L how?? it's great for Waikerie's gate, bar and canteen takings full stop. If anything it drags people away from other R.F.L and indy games.

It would seem according to Focus Stuey that they are not happy with the decisions handed down this week and will seek their own form of retribution (Quote FS: I hope his 4 weeks are up next time we play East Murray).

Lyrup play EM again in Round 16 on August 9th.

I am sure the RFL umpiring panel will be aware of the bad blood between the two clubs and will and should be hot on anything untoward in Round 16.

Would Lyrup risk suspensions and yellow cards to their players 2 weeks before a possible home second semi final against Cobby.

FOCUS Focus Stuey.

one of the few times i have agreed with reflex, its not good for RFL or indy or riverland footy in general. so channel 7,9 and probably 10 will have a camera at waikerie oval....how is that good for footy? next week it will be forgotten

Be very careful FS statements like that make squaring up with the East murray player by anyone from Lyrup PRE-MEDITATION and that opens up whoever endevours to square up liable for prosecution. After reading and replying to a few of your posts A Tip for you: Engage the mind before you engage your mouth
