I concur Swooper, all the best to him. I'm sure he will enjoy it at Jervois, and if he gets some passion back for playing footy it cant be a bad thing for the Emu's in the long run.

As previously discussed on here Reid is arguably the best player in the SFL, of course to lose him is a huge loss, however, we have not had him all year and his intention was not to play at all this year due to work/injuries/soreness... Times regularly change and Reid has accepted obviously a very generous offer from Jervio$ (whatever that figure is)... I am extremely confident that it will be for the remainder of the year only and he will be cleared back to play with the Emu's next year (injuries permitting of course)... I wonder if Jervoi$ could ever earn a Premiership instead of paying for them year after year..??

For the record the B grade coach has not walked out on the club as previously stated. That's all i will say on the matter.

I sincerely hope you all think we are embroiled in turmoil and are days away from an implosion...

If I am correct Reid was having a year off to let his knee heal instead of an operation so will Jervois play him straight away or train for 4 weeks or so
Duty of care I would think, would be sad for him to play just for the money and do his knee again

To you morphy boys Reid has been pretty faithfull over the years does he suddenly need the money????????? because why else would he play up there with a suss knee

Ok its been interestingfor the morning and sure a big name signing. It'd be nice to think Morphies were gonna struggle but as previous posts suggest it is highly unlikely.

What I'd like to know is are there any other last minute dealings going on? I have heard alot of rumours but as you've seen only bring them to light when I know that something is definately going to happen. So anyone else?

With a forward line of Pollard, Pittman, Gaskin, Ellison & Nathan Bayly all about to hit the park for the first time together i dont think there is a great deal of concern that we may lack goals in the run in to finals.

Swooper I don't think theres any need to defend yourself we all know who you guys have and as stated you have done it so far with out him. It's a testement to your club for having a big name like him out and to be still hot favourites for 5 in a row. (No disrespect to any other teams)
It'd be nice if we could all think that the wheels were falling off but until Aldinga lines up with 10 more of your guys thats not gonna happen for some time.

I'm pretty sure with the points system they have in place that this would be very hard to do and in fact even with Reid, Jervois are still under their allocated points. Maybe there's room still for one more M/V player??
