It's a game of football, you lost, get over it.
Maybe you should blame one of your forwards for not kicking straight for that one pivotal kick earlier in the match!?
If you won, you wouldn't be complaining.
If you have no umpires, you have no game, if you don't like it, don't watch.
I'm not a fan of Tasmans, i dislike them a lot, but you can't go posting verbal abuse on here, so quit it.
You Tiger boys are doing a reputation no favours, and in a club that claims it's changing and rebuilding, it appears just because of one game you're slipping back to your negative ways.
Move on, take your club, and your attitude forward.
Well said SS.

Interesting that a complaint from one poster on here has (allegedly) cost the two moderators their positions, yet we haven't heard from him since :? :? :?

It does seem odd that 2 mods got turfed by one troll and he has never been heard of since.

Very impressed with Mallee Park on Saturday. They have got a great bunch of experience and youth. Always had the young quick runners, but coupled with the experience of JT, Jas & Michael B, Harry, JJ, Stan W , Betts & co give them a dynamic combo. They were obviously pretty pumped to beat us, given the scenes after the game and mini celebrations after goals. Wouldn't have gone astray in September.....

Geez CU you are copping it on here. Just to clarify the matter does the league itself organise the umps or is there an umpire co-ordinater or umpireing committee that does that, by the way i wasn't at the game or any where near it that this controverse is all about.

I see in the paper each week that the Ben Simpson from Cummins is always appearing in the best over the past few weeks, i believe that he has been playing CHB. Was he unlucky not to play in the Mortlock Sheild???

I have seen some of his footy @ Jamestown, and he can be a quality player when he wants to!!

Interesting comment in the times from ML. Was that misquoted or did he mean to say that?

The current issue with umpires is purely a lack of numbers, and will not be fixed in the short term if at all. Clubs need to realise that without them we don't have a game, and get over it. Concentrate on the things that you can control, and accept that there will be good days and bad days. The real concern is that any young guy out there who may aspire to be an umpire, and saw a respected member of the football community publicly questioning the umpires after the game on the ground and beyond, may decide it is not worth it.

Well said bluestheboy and I agree with you that Leslie should have gone about it differently, through the proper channels.

Why won't former players have a go at umpiring and give something back to the game? It annoys me! Have a look at Todd G he is excelling at it and enjoys it. Why not have a go?

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!!
