Schapelle Corby: The Hidden Truth

Gotta give Nine credit - everytime I think it couldn't sink any lower....

It outdoes itself with this cheap tabloid crap!

Even worse than ACA and TT. (To be fair, they are the best comedy programs on TV.)

Fell asleep after half-an-hour.

And this is a two-parter?
Everyone can eat s#!t! A big bag of s#!t! I'm the greatest man in the world!

The problem for me is I think the Indonesian Govt would let her serve her sentence in Australia after she's out of the headlines (ie, once they have made their point to potential drug carriers). I have heard that they were close to getting something like that done a year or so ago.

However, Channell 9 refuse to let it go away! Geez, they signed up the exclusive rights to the story and now they are using it for their own ends .... over and over and over.

I watched most of it but my biggest  was when they "revealed" that the Corby's neighbour grew drugs and was a regular user. OK - so what? Not that I am defending Schappelle at all - just the Channel 9 tactics.

However, I was interested in the alleged made-up defences of the Qantas baggage handlers and the drug barons using her as a mule for a Brisbane to Sydney delivery.
In between signatures .....

the thing that in my opinion would make it harder for her to go on a prisoner swap thing, is the fact of the hidden cameras in the jail, i think if the indonesian jail, police and courts et found out about that, they could make life awfully hard.

The way I saw it.
That Bakir cat fuked it up.
Could have paid off the judges and got her out. If he kept his mouth shut and held out for a better deal.
Nah! He took it to the shock jocks. Fuknidiot. Competely blew the whole thing.

Corby's family are definately disfunctional, but probably had a good reason to hang shit on him for totally ******* it up.

That Hotman dude had no choice but to persue the baggage handler defence, so as to not offend the 'perhaps corrupt' customs officials/judges ... whatever. At least he knocked 5 years off the sentance.

What a fukn trainwreck that whole situation is.

I think you might find that the 5 years Hotman got knocked off at the 1st appeal, got added back on at the 2nd appeal hearing. Bakir could've got her hung aswell if he'd agreed to pay off the judges, could've backfired and made her admit being guilty. I'm pretty sure she's still serving 20 with the possiblilty of getting out after 13.
