Not a footy injury but the worst I've ever seen would have to be Eduardo's from Arsenal in the Premier League on the weekend.

One of the most sickening images I've ever seen is a picture taken right as his leg was struck and another just after. It looked like his foot is only being held on by his sock.

Made Nathan Brown's leg look like nothing.

Back on topic for myself, I've had several injuries in my time, but most are quite minor.
-broken finger
-both ac joints (missed 3 weeks each time)
-sprained ankles (several times on both like many other people)
-had snapping hip syndrome during a growth spurt in late high school
-plenty of black eyes (some quite bad ones where the eye has closed over)

One of my teammates replicated Nathan Brown's broken leg with the help of some dirty bloke's roundhouse kick at the ball... seconds after an opp. player popped a rib running into his twin. This was during a trial game.

As for myself, My injuries have been minor so far. Shoulder (v. minor) and foot tendon. So far, so good. Think I damaged a knuckle on the weekend letting out the frustrations after a loss.
Are you gonna eat that?

Upon reading this post last Friday I was thinking I'm pretty lucky, having only broken fingers and thumbs. Then I played on Saturday, was on the park for about 1 minute and broke my arm! Shouldn't have read this post!

when i was 18 i ripped the meniscus on the outside of my knee and dislocated my femur at the knee joint, this was in the first ten minutes of the first Semi, there goes my year...

then did the same thing the next year but in the Prelim, missed the GF which the boys won... maybe not the worst injury but the timing was the worst... i still got a medal but it's just not the same...
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

When i was 15 a piece of bone about the size of a small tooth broke off in my knee and hacked up my cartlidge the result was my knee swelling up to the size of a football, and me having to have a arthoscopy to have the bone removed and my cartlidge trimmed

Went up for a mark and put my hand down to break my fall. Landed index finger straight into the ground and disclocated it backwards, pushing the bone straight through the skin.

Popped it back in and went to hospital. Played the next week to get in to the finals and did it again, got infected and ended up in hospital for a week......the things we do for footy.......
Harsh but fair.....
