Does Graeme Swann look a bit like the great SK Warne?

And then delivers a ripper of a ball to Pietersen, although not a wicket taking one.

New Zealand 189/7 GD Elliott 4* (9b) PD Collingwood 3.4-0-19-1

43.4 Sidebottom to Elliott, OUT, all hell breaks loose here. A massive mid-pitch collision between Elliott and Sidebottom, who was closing in on the ball but running straight at the batsman, and Elliott goes down clutching his thigh. England carry on and throw down the stumps at the non-striker's end, and after a long debate, he is given out.
GD Elliott run out 24 (28b 2x4 0x6) SR: 85.71

So, justice is served, and for Collingwood, there's a bit of a humiliating postscript as he heads across to shake hands with the New Zealand dressing-room, but is snubbed at the door. Either way, the fans got their money's worth, and some.
So, New Zealand - written off after their Test, Twenty20 and first ODI thumpings - have claimed a 2-1 series lead with only the decider at Lord's to come. A 3-1 victory is once again in their grasp, the same margin by which they won the corresponding series in New Zealand in February. They are never happier than when their backs are against the wall.

Kyle Mills and Mark Gillespie held there nerve to seal New Zealand a thrilling and incredible one-wicket victory at The Oval. After Luke Wright produced a nerveless final over to match his effort in Napier, it came down to two needed off one ball. Gillespie drove the ball into the covers, Graeme Swann collected and threw at the non-striker's stumps, but he missed and there was no backing up as the batsmen were able to come back for the match-winning second. The emotion in the New Zealand camp was clear, but that stemmed more than from just the victory.

The talking point for days to come will be the dismissal of Grant Elliott, who was run out after a mid-pitch collision with Ryan Sidebottom and appeared to have picked up an injury. Umpire Mark Benson appeared to ask Paul Collingwood whether he wanted to uphold the appeal before Elliott was sent on his way. The New Zealand dressing room was angered, and it's unlikely that the issues will slip away quietly. There were no immediate handshakes from Daniel Vettori to Collingwood.

Great to see the Kiwis stay strong, and show plenty of balls!!
Excellent that they were able to hold on and win.
And just to think the Kiwis were only six balls short of a rain effected win in Game 2, when the game was stopped one over short of the required twenty for a game.

Jeez I hope they replay this tonight on Foxtel.

This is indeed good news and they'll be celebrating in the Shaky Isles today having beaten England twice in four days (God's Own).
