No mate, I don't know where Dalwood heard that rumour from...

He writes some stuff just to stir the pot I'm sure!!!! But quite often it comes to fruition.

have also heard a similar rumour but yet to have it confirmed.

will be a massive loss for the blue boys in 08

they might be able to throw a little more money in waits direction now to entice him back up for the remainder of the season....

not many other options with the new points system as roger was a zero pointer and thus will be very, very hard to replace at this time of the year!

Rog seems like a great bloke, & its a real shame. No-one needs that sort of thing to happen! It will affect his life for a while so hope he gets in as soon as possible if its true

If Waite played league at Ports, then I honestly think Imps should not be putting financial pressure on the bloke to come back. Let him have a real crack at it & see if he can forge a career in SANFL. We all know its his decision in the end but when your getting $50 a ressies game, & what ever it is for a league game, big $$$(reportadly 400-600) to play in a country league seems pretty inviting one would think.

i tend to agree goldy. but he has been down there for a while and is finding it hard to crack a permanent spot in the league.

i also think ressies players can now get more than $50 a game so he would be getting looked after a bit more in that respect. but not the tune of what he could get at imp$

time will tell

if hodge starts getting a game at sturt imps could very well be back in the middle of the comp

as far as i know he is still training with sturt and is 'on loan' to imps while he is still not getting a game down there.

obviously the chances are slim at this stage of the year. but if sturt get a few injuries or he just gets lucky down there, he would be playing ressies in town rather than at imps.

This week's round:

Tailem Bend v Jervois - the Bluds will want to hit some form after their loss to Ramblers last week. Tailem will want to be competitive, Jervois 51 - 60.

Meningie v Mannum - probably one of Meningie's last chances to get a win on the board, but the Roos will want to consolidate their finals chances. Mannum by 41 - 50.

Ramblers v Mypolonga - the Chooks at home, too much firepower. Mypo will be wanting to put in a good performance against one of the top 3, but i reckon Ramblers 61 - 70.

Eagles v Bluds - Bluds by 41-50 with T Rig kicking 8. Bluds are better then given credit for. Who really cares what happens in June!!!!! I'm sure they dont
Mypo v Ramblers - Will be closer then first thought, Mypo with heaps still out (apparently) but are playing a smart type of footy whilst this is happening to them, & closing games down (so floata says)  but roosters are a class act & will take some stopping
Mannum v Bears - Mannum by 51-60 Warnest maybe back & against Meningie will be a good tune up for him. Quinn is a star
