You forgot about the dreaded 'sticky' that would reduce the best batsmen to mere mortal status. Another batsman left out of this conversation is WG Grace. He redifined the art of batting on oncovered pitches. Before WG players would stick to forward or back, and sometimes one side of the wicket. WG was the first batsman to do it all. No other cricketer except Bradman has a larger advantage over his contemporaries than WG Grace.

I reckon Hussey is joking. Comes into the team and dominates. Then he picks up his bag of tricks and then stops playing shots. He has turned into Michael Bevan, one of my most despised cricketers. If you think an average of 22 on flat decks against the eigth ranked test team is acceptable then I'd suggest it is you who either joking or making a very stupid comment.
