Yeah, Brian Mont did but was refused. I cant believe that Bushy and the APFL never has to explain thier actions, it just crap. Maybe get on here and give everyone who wants to know an explanation on some of these issues that pop their head up every year. Piss poor.

PS - Look out for the Roosters from here on in. They have a few injuries to key players this week to deal with, but now that a couple more eagles lads have returned you can expect them to be major improvers on some already good form shown this year! Talon Leighton (wing) & Hardiman (CHF) have returned to join Seccafien who returned a few weeks back. Apparently all of these guys had no trouble making the team in town but just decided that they wanted to play with mates in the local league. When Oliver, Uren & spriggs return from injuries it could be interesting.

What about the young Allmond. Heard from a good source at the eagles he got the arse for being a clown one night on the turps. Any insights Rooster people

Nah not true matey, he is still out there, may have been a clown one night, but the lad doesn't drink usually, it's funny to see all these lads come back from the eagles on a saturday night drinking chocalate milk, "never mind the beer boy's give us another classic chocolate" i would expect young Jazz Allmond to be down there for a little while, he goes real well.

Im glad to hear it Rooster, but not a drinker????? I think you should take him aside and give the lad a yellow galiano and milk if milk is his drink of choice.
There is usually a good reason why the scores are not in the sunday paper or on the web Rooster, was it that bad??? Give us the low down.

Any explaination for the refusal? Sounds like S*it to me. Other side is if your named as an emergency I guess they expect you in an emergency! tough call.

Fair smackin of the rams Swamp, looks like Feeley enjoyed the room to himself??

Quash that rumour boys like I said last week. Byron played his first game for the Blues yesterday against Thevenard. By the sounds of it he didnt have a huge impact but he definately wont be playing for United.

Good onya MC I'll believe that one after he runs out of chances to qualify for finals this year. Ill put $20 on him playing this week for the Tigers vs Mallala. Heard a freshy today that he has signed and is sealed, admittedly it originated from that "I know every player who played AFL" publican from out your way.

I'll take you up on that $20 bet Donkey and I'll even pay you 3 to 1 odds. I will be the one with the pirate suit on for the night!!

Yeah, not sure why no scores in the paper! but not the best result for the Red and White's.

Two wells up at the first quarter but from then on it was the Andrew and Luke Evans show, pretty much marking, kicking and dominating anything that came their way, it was a good display of dominant forwards. but in all truth we were woeful in the 2nd and 3rd quarter and our middle was smashed in that time allowing the big units a reasonable supply.

We came back to give em a scare late, but their tails were up and got away if you like!

So it was fair to say there was a few blokes in the changerooms looking sheepishly at their feet after the game.

Our Boys need to know how to go into a game as favourites, cause everytime we get tipped to win, we fall in a hole. Now there's a tip!
Sorry people I only deal in facts!

We're almost half way through the season now, with the APFL Assoc Selections done and dusted, anyone care to have a stab at the Mail Medal? My 2 bobloblaws at the moment are with a Wilson, cant narrow it down at the moment though! perhaps Allmond a chance?

Next weeks matches features 2 of the traditional local derby's which should both be hard fought close matches and then the other match will be a danger game for the Roosters against an improving Bombers.

United vs Mallala
Balaklava vs HW Eagles
Two Wells vs Hamley Bridge

Tip all 3 games to be decided by 20 pts or less; winners Pies, Eagles & Roosters.

Good question Ace. I'm not sure if you can go past any of the Redheads to win though. J Mont always gets the ball then there is JRod East still in good form! Even the Strawberry blond Seccafein from Two Wells is having a good year and could be a smokey.

If we had have thought about it at the start of the year then it would have been a good footy trip fundraiser. Between JRod and Truss they would be up for a bit of coin.

Whilst Broady has missed a couple, he would be my tip at the moment. Always polls votes and his performance rarely gets acknowledged in his clubs best players.

Jezza prob has 3-4 bogs til now too given his bags of goals. Jared Wilson also.

So the Virginia tip didnt pull through for the donk this week but i was sure they would put up a bit more of a fight. It really was a different side to the one the maggies played earlier in the season. Not sure what happened, they started really well and were very competitive. The game was a really good test for the depth of Mallala, with both Robert and Brian Monty twins missing along with Blackett, Birchmore, Pontt, Matty Saunders the younger boys that came up definately proved themselves.
Huge game this week vs United, both teams with plenty to play for the local derby always proves to be a cracker, and will be in both grades again this week. Lets hope both sides are at full strength so we can get a really good measure of whats likely to unfold in the second half of the year.

This week was full of suprises swamp. The young Hamley lass who pulled 9pts out of the margin tin would've been pleasantly suprised after beggin to pull out another to no avail

HB were so keen on mixin it with the Eags that they decided to warm up with them, bit confusing with 20 balls being kicked at goal at the same end!

So what was the final Wells V Peckers score?

Yeah they tried the same party trick Saturday he directed the warm up lap straight into the on coming eags on the way down the wing.....didnt have the same effect Whiskey has had from time to time. Can confirm 52 teas done at the bridge Saturday night, and yes Swamp the female numbers were up.

i think perhaps winner will come from either ryan montgomerie or joel montgomerie. (i think they are brothers) however them boys will have few other taking votes off them. one player sure to get some votes in the last half is young fella from mallala dean christie.

i probably going with swamp on this one and say broad shorts will poll well again along with whiskey

that sure is a smokey! will poll less than light, ja wilson, joel wilson, barnes, jericho, braham...
pretty sure whiskey has been suspended this year.
broad has missed a few games. united's votes would be pretty scattered at this stage
who is this "young fella from mallala" dean christie?
ned seccafien has been getting best for the roosters every week but a few of these games have been losses and lee allmond should poll well
