Think you're right there Ace! Prem coach gets job the following year?
Hermann was the king of the motivational speech that's for sure! pre-game, half-time, club presentations, on-field antics, association captain(04)...........the list goes on...... He's a bloke you wish you could have tape recorded - I reckon he'd even surprise himself if he listened back in 20 years time!
I'll never forget his speech after the 04 Prem - classic!
Jazz would go alright - he'd certainly be respected!
Can Swamp Donkey shed any light as to whether he reckons Keith Earl would make a good rep coach or is he just Mallala through and through doin his bit for his club at present?
There is only one REAL FOOTY! The way it moves through the air - Mmmmm smell that leather smell and hear that leather on leather sound - Go the mighty Sherrin!

He may take it on, but I think his current role and his job takes up enough time as it is at the moment. Im sure his priority is winning another flag this year above all. There is a lot of shit to deal with when involved in assoc footy as we have seen in the past week for coaches, thats prob why non-current coaches have done it in recent years. Hermy was great to play under in the 2005 assoc win at Ardrossan. Still one of the best games i have been involved in, sensational win.

Old Super Coach, that has to be the biggest joke ever. Of What i have heard from him speaking to the players on saturday he is well and truely past it. he had no game plan to suit the playing group and perhaps if he went and watched a few games he mite play some of the players in there position, IE Buss down back, great natural goal kicker who was wasted down back

i for one will be voting for jared wilson to coach the side, he has great people skills, is great player and and is a great bloke with a lot of good ideas

harry taylor is a joke of a coach i think he only did it so can add to his already glowing resume!!! i think MWEagles mite have made him look a better coach then what he is

What is your beef with Harry Taylor Old School? Have you had a run in with him in the past, or maybe even dropped from one of his teams? Although you're not the first person i've heard question his coaching.

Tips this week;

Two Wells - 13 pts
Mallala - 78pts
HW Eagles - 40pts

PS - Look out for the Roosters from here on in. They have a few injuries to key players this week to deal with, but now that a couple more eagles lads have returned you can expect them to be major improvers on some already good form shown this year! Talon Leighton (wing) & Hardiman (CHF) have returned to join Seccafien who returned a few weeks back. Apparently all of these guys had no trouble making the team in town but just decided that they wanted to play with mates in the local league. When Oliver, Uren & spriggs return from injuries it could be interesting.

The only problem I have with Harry is he spits when he talks. Never stand in the front row when he's having a pre or past game rant!

What i heard of his addresses and feed back from some of the players i just think that his time in footy coaching has passed. for starters he couldnt even put effort into watching some other club games in lead up to see who was playing well and what positions players where best suited

i personally think that there is more to coaching then just what happens on the field. players are so different in the way some need to be approached and handled. not babying but just managed better to get the best out of them. thats why i think a jazz wilson or keith earl would be so much better coaching the ass side. they have respect of players thru out the league

no real beef with him just think that not ideal choice as coach for team with so much talent

Yeah I have heard that one, highly probable as well as Sam McArdle's return before the seasons out. Both will be handy. Im surprised its taken this long, considering they're sitting 4th. I guess when you've got money to waste, then why not. Last years investments payed dividends, thats for sure.

Byron has been training with the Ceduna Blues and is supposed to be playing there. Thats where his wife lives. As for Sam, I'm pretty sure he is only due back from New Zealand in November as thats when their wine harvest finishes.

Quash that rumour boys like I said last week. Byron played his first game for the Blues yesterday against Thevenard. By the sounds of it he didnt have a huge impact but he definately wont be playing for United.

Nah not true matey, he is still out there, may have been a clown one night, but the lad doesn't drink usually, it's funny to see all these lads come back from the eagles on a saturday night drinking chocalate milk, "never mind the beer boy's give us another classic chocolate" i would expect young Jazz Allmond to be down there for a little while, he goes real well.
Sorry people I only deal in facts!

Mallala 19.18.132
Virginia 5.5.35

H/W Eagles 18.0.108
Hamley Bridge 15.9.99

and I believe Balaklava beat Two Wells but do not know score

Good onya MC I'll believe that one after he runs out of chances to qualify for finals this year. Ill put $20 on him playing this week for the Tigers vs Mallala. Heard a freshy today that he has signed and is sealed, admittedly it originated from that "I know every player who played AFL" publican from out your way.
