JANUARIE TRY CONVERTED BY JAMES! 14-3! The tackles start to come in from Wales - pleasing Shaun Edwards no doubt - but they are camped in their own half at the moment. And the Boks are firing once again with Smith handing his nine score number two!

COOPER TRY CONVERTED BY JONES! 14-10! Wales have a chance to respond here though as SA are driven into touch from the restart. And that they do with a smart, short lineout seeing Cooper race down the flank before stepping in to score!

The Springboks sloppily fumble on Wales' ten-metre as the sun continues to beat down on the players! Surely these tough conditions will play a factor late on with more scores expected. Delve requires some treatment at the moment with Jones on his his place for now...

The penalty comes for the Boks at scrum-time! And surely James will have a look at the posts from 45 out...just wide from the Bath man. Bad news for Wales - Delve is off for good now as his knee fails to recover while the Boks continue to threaten from halfway.

Smith is acting centre from the scrum 30 out with De Villiers packing down at flank...and as expected the former crashes it up from first-phase off James. However, 'the beast' is penalised in open field leading to Jones clearing his own half..

Something from the training ground now as Januarie runs backwards before boxing low cross-field to Habana...but the bounce isn't kind to the wing as we approach the half-hour. It's all got a bit sketchy at the moment as stoppages regularly come.

WILLIAMS TRY CONVERSION MISSED! 14-15! Januarie boxes again to M Jones who spots a counter opportunity down the left wing. It comes to Shanklin wide out with a chip over...but it's unfortunate for Wales as the ball drops into touch...within seconds it doesn't matter! Williams shows his class once again with an in-out leaving the Boks clutching at thin air!

Boks scrum 30 out thanks to a debatable Welsh knock-on from Jones turning possession over. But Wales have it back and kick long to Jantjes...the ball is dabbed into the corner for a pressure lineout for Hibbard...

Not straight from the Osprey and the Boks have a late chance to strike here! Will they come up with the goods? Spies picks before Smith adds his weight...but Williams save his side wide out with an intercept that he fumbles. Another chance for the hosts!

JAMES PENALTY! 17-15! Roberts get a stern talking to by the referee for slowing the ball down and here's a chance for the Springboks to go in two up close to the break! The ten makes no mistake and they're back in front at Loftus!

The half ends with Jones' long shot just falling wide on the whistle! We certainly have a game in the heat though with both sides showing class in patches! Williams' finish was one to remember but who will finish the game the stronger?

he game restarts with Jones just failing to find touch before Wales get possession back from deep. They look to danger man Williams again at pace down the touchline...but there's a foot in touch from the wing and SA throw in 55 out.

Hibbard throws in an there's an early Bok jumper there...free-kick on halfway as Wales look for some fluidity early on to add to their possession! They look left with Williams who dance through three before the visitors continue to make metres...

However, Wales hold on at ruck time ten out and the Boks choose to go from deep with Jantjes getting his hands on it. Fine dummy switch with Habana from the full-back there as both sides continue to test each other out.

JAMES PENALTY! 20-15! The Springboks have a penalty advantage that is eventually blown for and Smit points to the posts. The lead is stretched to five in Pretoria and intriguingly poised!

JONES PENALTY! 20-18! James now puts boot to ball with a clearance as the increasing stadium shadow continues to mask the pitch. Welsh ball with M Jones 20 out and there's Bok hands in there as the NH side respond through their fly-half!

Habana is penalised at the tackle area from the restart and Wales quickly move back to the Boks' 22! Cooper now spins it out before Shanklin is forced to straighten and reset - better from Gatland's men. However, they fumble and De Villiers can hack downfield and chase...straight out as the home fans groan!

Pressure on Wales at lineout time and the Boks have won themselves a penalty from 55 metres out thanks to good snaffling. Smit opts for position this time and some much-needed possession as we edge closer to the hour...

More frustration for the hosts as their slow ball turns into a Welsh penalty! Now there are some cheers as Steyn, Du Plessis and Kankowski enter the fray - what can they bring? Defence will be required first...
