What a lot of hot c**k. If that came from the league they really have lost the plot. Wouldn't want to be the team kicking against the wind would you.
Anyway I'll say it again - in a round robin comp a draw is a draw is a draw, end of story.

After consulting with past presidents and past officials I can say that the timekeepers have never been "instructed to not sound the siren until the next point or goal was scored if the score was tied at full time".
This was printed in the paper and was an ill-informed comment.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Don't get out to Wangary on Thurs nights much these days so have no idea what the side is like, who's up who or who killed the cat.
But rekn it would be very close to seeing the return of J Doudle, S Thompson, C Ackland, D Scott etc etc after fishing/farming duties. Not sure how far Roger is away after his foot op but will also be a very welcome inclusion.
Also Tim Brooks should be back after fishing and his brother who might play a few more weeks in the reserves to get some fitness.
Don't know how long Tokas is out for.
Be pretty handy when we get all the above in and make for a solid B side as well
Probably forgot a couple of names

from what i hear sounds like the far west footy league have lost the plot and have reported a heap of players from mortlock, from what i've been hearing one guy was late to show up at the rooms and has been given 3 games, another has been given 5 games plus one final due to not showing up last year when he was playing for another club, plus a few others have been given games but yet they had pictures in the times/sentinel or named in the match score, what a joke, surely that would put anyone off from playing for FWFL, i would personally turn round and send them a bill for the fuel to travel to lincoln and back

The way the FWFL players conducted themselves over the weekend. I am glad the FWFL has taken a stand and maybe we should look at doing something similar =D>
I think the players lost the plot not the FWFL.

What is the world coming to?

So Bluey made it up again that the timekeepers dont press the button at fulltime. This would have never happened in any game of aussie rules anywhere in this country, why did he think we would believe that?

Except for the Mortlock Shield according to an ex timekeeper and past president of a PLFL club who was involved in such shenanigans himself years ago. I wonder who else will admit to this. Sorry, but no names mentioned here.
Still can't see timekeepers doing that off their own bat. Would've had to come from somewhere up top.

Poorly researched for a person of your position cu...
What bluey wrote is correct for mortlock shield only....doesn't make it right but does make his reporting accurate.

Wonder how many shields have been determined by the unwritten 'golden point' rule?

I want names because the people I have spoken to know nothing about the 'golden point rule', either that or they are in sheer denial.

Only played a couple of games Shrek as he's been out with a hammy which they wanted to get right first.
Been ok without being brilliant but does show signs of his undoubted cleverness and ability. Needs to do it for bit longer periods though. Last game he played was good for a half and then went missing albeit when a gun went to stand on him. Don't think that's being unfair on the lad.
Can't wait to see him and Semmler both in full flight in the forward lines when our team gets more settled with the better players we have to come back in.

No doubt there would be some wankish dancing if he is there. How do you boys feel about the great Vincenzo Urbancic being recruited to Westies?

Hiya folks,

For reasons that I wont divulge we now have no people from this topic as moderators but we're interested in someone responsible keeping an eye out for us so if any EP sports fans are interested in becoming a moderator (or have any questions prior to comitting) just send me a PM and we'll discuss further.

Cheers,
