Thanks for the update but does not seem to be too much in it.. down the hills source must have had to much sauce on the day..

I believe everyone in the fight represented one club or another. Did hear they were Morphies boys, but didnt know they actually played. Was amongst it myself, though most of it is a blur

The guy is always at the front of the pack when doing the runs and has trained out there 2 years in a row. why not give him a crack?
Your attitude is the same as south in previous years. maybe thats the reason why south have been so bad. They never give all the blokes a go just there favourite players.
Good on Clay for giving baxter a go and hope he gets another league game...

Well said Hills. Couldn't agree more.

Not too bad, not a bruise, just a slightly swollen nose. Few other blokes looked quite worse for wear. Everyone just laughed it off in the end anyway.

tunit you wish you half the player Baxter is.He was one of the best footballers in the southern league last year. Im the first to admit south arent the best team going around but he has been performing very well in the reserves so you cant say he hasnt earned his spot. The guy has great hands, huge leap, massive heart and a big engine (right up there in the pre season runs for 2 consecutive years) so why not give him a crack?

Zone footy

Heard there are some issues going on at the moment regarding zone football. Does anyone know whats going on as im a bit hazy on the truth. The RMFL players are being forced to Join the South East this year and the SFL is not happy...
There is a meeting tonight regarding the dispute. Can anyone shead any light?

Apparently the Southern Districts zone heirachy aren't happy they've lost the RMFL to the South East this year as they pretty happy being in the top 2 each year. I heard a rumour about a month ago that they were thinking about boycotting the Country Champs this year as a protest about the decision. If that is true then it is a massive case of sour grapes IMO.

Tunit, further to you being a wanker and not keen on seeing players from clubs not as powerful as morphetvale get up into the league catergory. Baxter is again named to play this week. Ill be there on sunday cheering him on!

also tunit, your full of sh**T about Milo, as if he will give league footy another shot. He would have to train too hard + he always has niggling injuries. Hopefully he continues to star in the SFL with his mates earning a little bit of coin. I would like to see him play league footy again, but it just wouldnt happen and there would be no point for him to play ressies this late in the year.

Tunit was recently warned about getting personal and name calling on this forum.
Could we please refrain from returning fire, regardless of what you think of his/her posts, the name calling has got to stop.

Thanks

look guys afl flyer and hills, Milo trained with south on wed night that is a fact,i know he loves the club (reynella), but he trained on wed night with the panthers, and for someone to say that Baxter was the best player in the southern league that is an absolute joke and for the likes of someone like Bachmann that was running around last year i am embarrassed you even put them in the same category.

They are both out at south, baxter in the league and bachmann in the reserves........ do i need to say more, baxter played one sfl game this year and from all reports dominated against morphett vale. The lad has improved in leaps and bounds.
T unit which club are you involved with?? Or do you just like the fact of mocking all clubs and players with crap. I could imagine you were or are one hell of a footballer....haha

Why has Milo gone and trained at South? Seems a little silly to go down there at this time of year but good luck to him.

Baxter last year was nowhere near league standard, he struggled in the 2s but this year it seems as tho another pre season under the belt has done wonders and he does have good hands. Im not sure where i personally would play him in the league side but Clay feels he has something to offer so give him some credit, hes down there, hes doing all the training and is putting himself out there and giving himself the opportunity to play League footy which at the moment is more than any of us!

Rather than bag the bloke encourage guns from ur club to test themselves down there and take his spot if they are better. Theres always guys at Country footy that could be better but being a gun in the country doesnt necessarily translate into a walk-up start league footballer.

Another real good effort by Aldinga today ---- just went down by three points. Could have been sitting on five wins at this stage with close goes against Christies, Noarlunga and now Flaggies.
More evidence that Shane Lynch is getting them somewhere. Rome wasn't built in a day, but it seems it is coming together.
