Sorry norm, after hearing of the Willy Searle news I decided to take the day off work to go to the sports store and look for a Two Wells one day outfit before they sold out. That will make things interesting for the odds.

Sorry norm, yes, Smithfield will be in div 2 whether there are 6 teams or 8, we'll be around the mark again, a lot of young lads have gained some experience now and it should start paying off. We need an opening or top order batsman to have a well balanced side.

Do you and CT know each other???

lol. Very good come back. Look with two guys that a genuine quick with the new ball followed by stama and a few others to follow they will be very handy. But us also very handy handsy , rabbit, bomber, myself , robbo plus a few up our sleeve with the ball. Sals west will still be very good as will lodge , they beat us twice last year . Virginia will always show alot of fight and atco will need to pick some up i think to be competitive.

What I was going to bring up was who deserves the right to be in Grade's 1 & 2 if we are to go to a 6 team comp. Going back to the rankings that I put up on about page 10, it would mean that OTH & Rosies would be down in Grade 2, Para Teachers, Angle Vale & St. Pauls would be in Grade 3.

Given the fact that Angle Vale had a stellar season in Grade 3 & St. Pauls won the flag, I'm sure that they would not be too impressed by not having the right to be promoted. I would think that OTH & Rosies would not appreciate being relegated as they are both pretty proud clubs with impressive records over the years.

Para Teachers who narrowly missed on playing in the finals in Grade 2 would now find themselves in Grade 3, another proud club that wouldn't be happy with that outcome, the more I think about it, the more I think that it wont happen, are there any other thoughts on the matter.

Yeah, I'd hate to see all of OTH players return if they do go down, they were very strong the year before last, it was disappointing seeing them struggle last season, they had some good results during theyear though.

Div 2

Central United- Always a bogey side for us, depends on who goes on again, a lot of experience
Smithfield- Can produce the goods, lack consistency
Craigmore- Need to get a few players back, still capable
Eastern Park- Same boat as Craigmore, will be keen to get back into div 1
Angle Vale- Who knows, have earnt their chance for div 2, I'd love to see Raed play at the AVPS
Para Teachers- Depends on who sticks around, no Handsy hurt them last year, they have good batsmen
St Pauls- Untried in div 2, another small oval in the comp.
Salisbury West- Depends on how they play it, if they have their 2nd best 11 playing, they'd make the finals, I think they'll keep blooding the kids, it's made their A's very strong.

This is purely on last seasons efforts, a lot can happen during the off season.

You'd probably be a better judge than me as you've seen most of them 1st hand but I'll give it a go.

Two Wells- Coz norm reckons & things are going ok out there
Sandy Creek- Billy Fuller will have a huge year, 800 runs, 40 wickets
Sal. West- Always around the mark
Virginia- Seccafien to have another great year
Brahma Lodge- Anywhere between 3rd & 5th, I'll never right them off
Rosies- Could do with a couple of players back, I'm sure BJ will get someone back out there
ATCO- Probably a bowler short last season, big step up into div 1
OTH- I hope they prove me wrong, another club that was hurt by several departures, Go Nicko, (lionheart)
