What a stupid comment!
Nothing is regulation in footy and to say something like that is just rediculous!
Every team/players strives for a Premiership dont they
And premiership or not reckon he would be looking at staying for atleast another year after this one if the club happy with it!

Maybe someone from St pauls should have asked him to stay or find out exact reasons?
What did they do to try and keep him? (not talking money)
Unless you know exactly the ins and outs of why he left and went to cobby mgiht be best to keep quiet!

????????????

I'm not saying we're a threat, but two other clubs would like to think they are. On their day, I reckon they'd be right.
Very much looking forward to the next Cob v Par game actually - that will give us a fair gauge.

Hope Cobby do get a challenge. Clarify DW, but how many games have Cobby lost in the past 2 years?? And when was their last loss?

Just got a feeling that Horsell might be chasing one of those medals, which St.Pauls O.S. players don't have a chance of winning this season.

Ease up, I strongly doubt he'd be a glory chaser.

Once again pretty sure everyone plays for a Premiership?
Some do it for the money??
who would you want at your club?
bloke who wants to win premiership or bloke that want to take $ away from club for themselves and their own egos?

You make a fine point but nothing can be taken for granted.

Surely if Horsell was chasing a flag, he could've easily found a club a lot closer to home to do it with?

In these comments, I'm not defending Horsell (he can do that himself) but more your claims that Cobby have the flag sown up.

Sure is out of leftfield. This time last year it would've been out of left field to suggest he would be playing at Cobby ;)

I haven't heard anything to indicate any truth in that question and certainly not underming Rod's position. However, I'd be surprised if something wasn't suggested later on....

Has coached before hasn't he?

Not a good record though!
Think there would be better candidates than him if Rod was to give it away but with record like he got would think he's there for a while yet

I'm not condoning or applauding what Horsell is doing either. Good Luck to him. Just reckon Cobby would be one of the warmest favourites to win the GF in any S.A. Country Footy Comp this season (Morphys in Southern the other) and 'perhaps' that is why he's there.

i believe they have lost probably 4-5 games in 3 and a half years.
mind you they lost 1 game up until the gf in 2005 (i believe) then lost the one that matters.
CM Recollect feel free to pull me up on any point.

so to summarise bradman would be right, while they are the favourites they havent got a medal around their necks yet.
