Of course they should have played on. Look what happened to India in Sydney, ok, sure it's not an SCG pitch, but there's an example where wickets can fall in a hurry.

Interesting selection.........WTF is the guy even on tour ?

40 matches...........107 wickets @ 40.36

The bloke was NEVER even close to consideration until he headed EAST.

Noffke should be in and bowl Symonds and Clarke's spinners.

he bowled well for wa and was thought of highly when he was over there, that record is comparable to cullen's

symonds hasnt taken a wicket this series yet - probably isnt fully fit either has he hasnt bowled a great deal.

they dont want to overbowl micheal clarke as he has a history of getting bad backs adn he would also lose his impact effect of being a partnership breaker if he is used to much

Cmon Casson! For once we have taken a gamble on youth, you beauty! Would prefer to see Heal as the spinner but at least he's young.

Was the MALfunction that dopey Chris Gayle :?:
Mark Taylor, Steve Waugh and Ricky Ponting have fluked about 60-75% of tosses in Test Cricket
Naturally they have nearly always batted first
Thats luck and you take that luck

Enter Chris Gayle
Finally playing in a test match after being injured in the Indian Poofta League ?
Wins the toss
and DOPEY sends the Aussies in

My 4/305 prediction is on the proviso:
A. they bowl the overs out
B. they fix the sightscreens up
C. both captains agree not to call the game off ...
