The Dutchman wrote:you have done the sunday mail proud mate. its those type of articles that sells papers. its a shame people form opinions based on such well read poor journalism.

i really like the picture they used of Sam J though, he definitely looks like some sort of  psycho  in it!
i think it is good in principle that south are prepared to further suspend him given the facts of a teammate dying recently due to a stray punch,
but not having seen Sam J's actual punch thrown, it is hard to say if it warrants him sitting out for additional games.

i was more interested in the article to find that 4 games is considered a 'lengthy' suspension in the SANFL, with him being the first player in a number of years to receive such a penalty.

and dutchy i dont really think that an article on page 23 is going to sell a lot more papers do you??... its not like it was splashed across the front page

yeah but you have to admit there are very different cicumstances to this particular incident.
didnt south say they were 'prepared' or 'considering' to give him additional games, not that they are definitely doing it.
its probably good PR for Souths to come out and say this as im sure even without the article written in the mail, people would have been discussing it and saying how silly it was on Sams behalf.

Why has Baylis pulled out of the RMFL rep side? Jervois just had the week off so surely he's physically alright?

This is what I've been talking about all along!!! Now we cant help but talk about who's pulling out. (and rightly so), when we should be excited by the squad we have. This is why RMFL must pick guys who WANT TO PLAY
