Geez you lot had a huge day today! Unlike some I had to put in a semi hard days work! I know most of you wont make the effort but if you want to see some talent, head along to the u15 association match in 2 weeks time. We have basically got the team down in concrete. Some impressive kids out there and we've come together as a team very well. Expecting some big things.

As for Compass to win by 100 points, thats a silly tip. If that happens to occur I am willing to walk to the association match carrying the Saints president on my back. That will not be the margin!

I heard a south adelaide offical say the other night that Burdett is a contracted player and that he is on their active list and can not play for compass without permisson from the club .IF he plays this weekend for compass without permisson compass will break a rule within the GSFL by laws and loose points if they win .The same way the creeks would have done 2 years ago had they won the grand final

We will just have to wait and see if Burdett plays tomorrow. Some say he will and some say he wont. As for the association team all 4 that were selected from the saints are out. Griffen boys and todd russell had holidays planned and Yeomans is a police officer so he has work committments.

Cuzzy, i like your confidence, but if you think you will beat the bays with half a team of senior colts / first year players ur dreaming. Bays have started well beating teams that are all around the same mark. The next three weeks will sort you boys out playing teams that are above you guys. I'm tipping that you boys are not as good as you think you are, with three big loses coming up. But that's just my opinion.

I believe this was said about the Bays prior to round one, I also believe that Bays came with in inches of beating Compass who are above them? What do you expect cuzzy to do, get on here and say 'oh we're in trouble'. Last I checked Willunga were actually human further to this people who chose to conduct their lives with a defeatus attitude are usually those who never really achieved much themselves. Dare I say it games are won and lost primarily between your ears.

And you say you are from Victor TC, just quietly mate you kidding no one. Not one Victor Footy Club person in all the years I have been around has ever said anything positive about the bays and I dont believe they are about too. What you have said above is correct but you will never hear a Victor person say anything of the kind.
But Willunga are human and it would be great to see them get knocked off!!

TC is not from Victor, the man was bored yesterday! We all know who TC is.

Encounter Bay will be a tough challenge tomorrow, to me they seem a bit of an unknown quantity but im confident the side we put on the park will be able to take the points. Like every other team thinks they can win the game. You certainly cant go into a game thinking you will lose.

It's in Willunga's best interest to lose a game or two during the minor round and I reckon the Demon's hierachy are well aware of this. You might be on to something Cuzzy, this weekend we might just see the Demons have the loss they had to have.

Coming within inches of beating compass, exactly, you didn't win. It would be good to see willunga lose, but the bays will not be the team to topple the demons.

Creeks losing to Yank by 11 points... who would have predicted that one? Certainly doing to derail their season a little. Granted, Yank had some big ins, but i think Creek will cop a bit this week. Deservedly so too.

Thats pretty crazy stuff right there! Who were the big ins for Yank exactly?? Surely it was more the case of a bad day at the office for the creeks.

Bays down to Willunga
Mypo down to McLaren

I see it but I dont believe it! Yank beating Creek. No offence to the Creek fans but this is extremely good for the league. I am excited about the league this year. I see that Yank had Freeborn (of Kanagroos 96 premiership fame) and Groom (of Adelaide Crows fame) suit up. This would have been a big boost.

Now to the big issues. The Saints went down to Compass at Compass by 8 points. 5th loss by 18points or under. The dogs got of to a flyer kicking 5 to zip in the first term but when the Saints hit the front late in the third it was on. A game well worth the $5, but for us its another "what if". Burdett played and will continue to play for Compass. Carved the first quarter up then was shut down by Mark McGuinness, probably had less than 10 possessions after 1/4 time. Good effort by Funky, but in fairness to Burdett he hasn't played for 2 weeks. (Lets see if the men in orange give him votes for this game)

LIMB - Surely you playing your 1st 'A' grade game for the creeks for 2 years didn't bring the standard of the team down by 15 goals did it?
Biggest upset in the gsfl in the last 20 years i reckon.
