Brett would be the choice but willow doesnt want to play the "oldies". I would play Singh in the ruck and Brett at CHB

what did you think of the GFFL sqaud Wt hs djd gg or mb?

Its nice HS that you think that same sqaud will get you over the line because come 11 am next saturday you wont know what hit you!

We just had a visit from a very irate JJ about this issue on the points being stripped from an entire club. Lets get this straight the MPFC have been repeat offenders and had accumulated over $5000 in fines last year as we fined them on nearly every occasion they did not supply an official. At the end of the season we recieved a cheque to pay the fines and the name on the cheque was not from the MPFC it was from shall we say a former player who has gone on the bigger pastures. I can vouch for this as I banked the cheque.
We saw this as the only decision to make and we have put the ball back in the MPFC court now as they now know what to expect and what we expect. Keep on giving them fines would have been senseless as it obviously had not worked in the past, so while this may seem an over the top or drastic desicion by us from outsiders let me assure you it was was not taken lightly in this office.
The facts are the MPFC played a player not eligible, failed to supply 2 junior grade umpires and never had a time keeper for the entire day (6 games).
The well respected JB said this was the best result and it needed to happen so the MPFC can go back to the its commitee and assign people to these positions and have backup people if they are unavailable.
We have set a precident now and this goes for all clubs.
Lets hope they take this on board and start to realize if they want to be part of this competition they have to lift their game in this area.
They can respond by cleaning up their act or folding its as simple as that
To tiger07 and everyone who thinks this is harsh all I can say is do your homework before mouthing off

p.s hurry up and get the faxes through tonight I want to go to the pub!

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Cu i think the league has every right to do what they did because as
you said this sort of stuff has been happening for years without much
punishment and enough is enough, i guess all the other clubs have had to do these jobs every week so whats good for the goose. As jb said it just might be what is needed for there club to get its arse into gear.

agree with HS same as before. i would hopethe team would come up better for morlock maggot, habner (sa players) plus a few others i would hope come in. but you cannot knock our coaching staff who i think is undefeated. we are very lucky to have someone like darren smith in our community.
i am not going to be like HS and say we will win another one, last time i said the same thing (4 years ago i think) lincoln dist belted us on the monday, ruley gave s pedler a bath, r jones had 50 kicks and billyo resigned me to the pine for most of the afternoon. i think we lost by nearly 10 goals and we were predicted to win by 10!! did you play in that one HS. tom phelps wa coach.

The action taken CU is far from drastic and is long overdue. As i said before it should be applauded as it gives some credibility back to the comp. For far too long it has not been a level playing field with these matters. =D>

CU the problem I had was there are no guidelines for the penalty you dished out. where did you get that penalty from? It seems harsh to me but we all have different opinions.

We will win tommorow given the side I just saw on paper. $1.20 would be like taking wheat from a blind chook AG.

If I was a punting man I would be getting on W at $3.50. Dead set fav's IMO

No-one has seen the new signing they got who will play his 1st game tomorrow (probably start him off in the B's). Goes by the name of Nugget and I don't know how but Bluey knows all about him and reckons he's "gold". He would have to frontup for his 1st game against us :(
