Without a doubt, they should get some incentive to play association, then we'd see the best 11 out there, early in the 90's, there was only one game, that way everyone was keen to get a gig and get on the p1ss with their usual rivals, it was great.

I Played in the Inderpendant association team against para districts one year . Carpo, North, bomber, few more i cant remember good side flogged us but we were s***t.

Billy ?

Was that at Pennington, the paddocks or ATCO??

What year was that, I remember us cleaning them up at Pennington pretty cheaply, must've been 96 or somewhere around there, I don't think it was that game though.

Not sure. I know that after his first game with Two Wells, he rocked up at our club after the game. His heart is probably still with Salisbury West, just like Hewy from what I gather, but money talks big with Rocco. Ended up at Gepps in turf last year. Doubt he'd come back for a little while, because there will always be a club throwing some bucks his way, and we don't do that (at least at the moment and as far as I know).

If any of you guys are from Salisbury West then you'll know exactly who I am since my ID is just my first name and last initial!

Nah, Robins was one year.....Carpo the other.

And on Rocco....it was Kilburn (A2) he played at, not Gepps. Ended up getting no money from either club.

I played one at The Paddocks, I think Carpo was the skipper, one at Pennington under Kev Stellars and the other was at ATCO, we drew the Paddocks game and flogged them in the other two. How many can you name from the alleged 96 game where Jimmy scored a ton.

The one I played in at Pennington, someone got hit in the head, James Morris I think, we got them out around the 20 over mark.

Ahhh Jimmy Morris....Hits a long ball.

I have a feeling you are involved with Centrals or an Elizabeth side.
Do you know who I used to love watch bat.....Pickers from Centrals. He was a very classy player.
