To be fair, I think Willo has tried to reward the guys that made themselves available 2 weeks ago. Toby Rawson was one of those, but to his credit he has been in our top three the last 2 weeks. Deserved to be on current form.
Basco carrying an injury will more than likely miss. Blight in my opinion is the most in form ruckman in the competition, and gives you a contest at either CHF of CHB if required. New baby might limit his time to be available for a whole weekend tho and being one of our elder statemen might struggle with the format.
I am still struggling with the lateness of the naming of the list. Letters will be handed out tonight at the earliest. Surely the squad could have been named last week. I see they still need a runner and team manager. FFS one week before the game and still not organised.

You would expect some high profile inclusions next week tho if we are serious about winning.

Mallee was an observer at Wangary last Saturday I believe.

1. Blight is the best ruckman yet you recommended Bascombe to Willow. Are you a GFFL allie? Blight gives a contest but is not up to rep standard

2. Who are these high profile inclusions?

Blight and tasmans Bascombe could have a long kicking comp at half time to entertain the crowd!

At no stage was our club asked for input into the interleague squads. Willo watched the game against MP and obviously formed his opinion based on one game.
Blight has the number one quality needed to kick the footy, and this is the fact he gets his hands on it.

Would be surprised if Dunn and Mooney were not added next week. A bit of muscle flexing happening at the moment imho.

Zoomer came out after game on oval, shook some hands no worries but turned his back on young Kaden, left his hand out high and dry!! what are your thoughts eski?

Mal Miller has left tigerland also according to my work collegue. Expected pay when he was out injured. Club not giving in this time and no one has been to see him, 'can’t be bothered with mercenaries ' was the comment from him about the situation!!!

Pretty poor coming from an A grade coach. He also walked strait pass young Ben Harangi too. Although he did say to one of our Adel recruits at the end of 06 that he would love to have him play for them but to stay at Bostons because he was needed there. Now why cant he be like that to other players that have come accross to help the league be more competetive?

And MM was at the Gary on Sat

I know very little about football but I found this story amusing as it came from a former coach of the club involved.
Some of you football folk might find it funny
Tasmans met him with a certain player down at Sharky’s and he promised them he would be at training the next night, no problems, wasn’t leaving. As he walked out a supposed friend told them (tasmans) that the player had his clearance in his back pocket the whole time as he was speaking with them and was on his way to the league rooms to lodge it. The former coach also said when Tasmans would go to see him they would pull up at hisa house and all of a sudden all his lights would go off and he would sit inside in the dark and not come out. Compulsive liar and of very dodgy character, fit right in with the type of player Rossco said they would be targeting this year. You know the love of the jumper ones, no money.

I havent mentioned any names but I just found it funny considering what image clubs are trying to portray. Football polotics are crap give me hockey any day!

So have MP lost all their points from saturday or not?? Blueys column makes reference to it in about 5 words and thats it!
If it is the case it should be spread all over the front and back pages as to what has happened...it seems to me it has been kept hush hush so we dont upset them too much. When we had 19 on the field in 04 it made the front page..

i applaud the league for finally making a stand (if its true) but the story needs to be told in full, as we all know MP do this sort of thing all the time. Also, if the league have punished them, they need to continue to do it each week if it is warranted.

Bluey also mentioned that MP had only lost 1 game. This is not the case if saturdays points were taken away. The times should have done a story on it and the whole football public should know what is going on.
Is it the league covering up and sweeping under the carpet or poor form from the times.

skipper46...interesting story. Real fantasy that one...and you have shown how little you really do know about not just footy, but the parties involved. By the looks of your post, it seems that as the hockey thread lurches to an untimely death you have decided to shift forums to continue stirring. Good luck mate, but you will get lost in the wake of our more 'professional' trolls that reside here.......

Bish...page 2 of todays times. Would have thought the matter would merit more of a write up, but it did break fairly late so might not have been able to 'hold the front page'.
What will be interesting is that only the winners were penalised according to the write up. losers were still able to retain their score, which might make a difference in percentage at the end of the year.

Now lets see, who could this former coach be? Lets go through them.
1. Wally Lamont
2. David Stoeckel
3. Ron Simpson
Now Ron is not involved with TFC anymore, so that leaves sticks and Wally who have provided with your story. Wonder who the culprit is here?

By the kind words you tiger supporters have for MM why would we bother T07? your quick to point out when he kicks goals and wins you football matches though.....

Yes interesting that MP get their score wiped in the grades they won..... have to feel for our b grade boys ...they would have been better off losing.....

So we have not established who is the best current ruckman in PL.... lets vote......

Sorry grub I was going to put that in my last post.

I would say B Watho although both Charman and Blight would come under consideration. I have also seen A North demoralise opposing rucks.
Reading between the lines - B Watho

Watherston is definately right up there, but appears to be used more as a KPP this year with Singh doing more of the centre square work.
If fit and ready to go at Mortlock, and given the squad he would be a monty to lead the first ruck.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]
