MT COMPASS V SAINTS - Mt Compass 50+ points, season over for saints, may aswel stack the b grade see if they can get to the finals
LANGHORNE CK V YANKALILLA - Creeks by 50+, way to strong for yank even with Koster
ENCOUNTER BAY V WILLUNGA - Bays by 5+ points in the upset of the year, bays with everything to gain and willunga with everything to loose
STRATHALBYN V VICTOR HARBOR - this will be close Victor have hit some form, i reckon strath by 10+ points
MCLAREN V MYPONGA/SELLICKS - Myponga should get over the line here by 20+ points, I hope, i acctually hope McLaren dont win a game all year after seeing those s&%t house jumpers.

Tips for this week
Compass 50 -60 big advantage in ruck to Compass.
Creek 70 - 80 maybe more if they can kick straight.
Willunga 100 - 110 Bays may limit Willungas total but who will kick Bays goals and will struggle in the ruck.
Strath 50 -60 although Victor will have their moments
Pongy 30 -40 Pongy need to find some consistency - will have to be switched on - lose this and its all over for 2008.

Compass by 35
Creek by 70
Willunga by 100+
Strath by 60
Myponga by 20

Dewkicker you said that the Saints will struggle in the ruck. Stringer has been in the best the last 2 weeks beating much bigger opponents. Who is the Compass ruckman and why is he expected to dominate??? Just on ruckmen, Philp will jump all day but Steele is too experienced and has plenty of helpers.

I think he'd be referring to the big ranga in Webb. He's been in good form for the doggies and will be tough to beat.

Oh yes the big unit. I'll tip that strings will make hime earn every tap, and will also do more damage around the ground (14 marks last week with 9 contested!)

Cuzzy & LF if both ruckmen have been so dominate i might change my tips - as if.
But an interesting point in both cases with 1) Philp "hasnt been beaten yet" if so and with some quality on ballers would have expected some more convincing results - especially against the lower sides. So where are Bays falling down back or forward. Maybe they need to bring up that big CHF from the B's. 2) Stringer "best last two weeks" probably speaks for itself, certainly impressive stats around ground. But in both cases will these players give their onballers first use at the stoppages. By the way Webb probably the most improved player in the GSFL over the last two seasons. Thats most likely comdemned him to a poor game now LF. :(

There has not been one opponent that everyone has said, Philpy will struggle all year. Credit where its due I reckon, from all reports he has held his own but still gains no respect for his ability or hard work. Steele and co will be a great test for Philpy but he has learnt a few tricks himself and gets a bit of help around the ground.

Philpy smashed Webb all day at Compass.
Bays falling down up forward; as the season goes on they will find their grove - I believe Brown kicked 12 in two games? Bays are happy to get over the line at the end of the day and lets not forget some close results that didn't go their way. I think they will be the bigger inprover come round 18 of the comp. At Victor we 've hit our straps but I must wonder is there any room for improvement for the Roos? Our onballers will not be able to continually win games for us all year.
All teams are very beatable - ALL teams.

Teffy are you suggesting u r involved at Victor?? Victors onballers are good, they still lost more clearances than won last weekend. Couple of young lads at Victor were good, young #9 Topley was a good contributor for them all day and provided some good run from defence and Campbell Simmons also played well.

If Philpy smashed Webb all day then we certainly look forward to the challenge of quelling his influence on the game. Steele and Langford will have their work cut out for them on the weekend by the sounds of it!

Looks like TC/FM/BAS is upto his old tricks again, the past month or two he has been all talk about bays and now he comes out saying he is Victor. A bit like when Footy Mad was Allan Swain Tony Modra and who knows who else.

I think we know who the kidder is here TC!!!
Looking at the games LF and TC are talking about...
Stringer best over the last two games...
Played Myponga- Laffin was named third best on ground??? Did they have a deal going to take it easy on each other???
Played Victor- Victor don't exactly have the best ruckman...what happened the week before against McLaren? They don't even have a ruck and he couldn't get in the best!

Same as Phil who you said killed Webb...Most have been seen differently from a Compass point of view as Webb was third best on ground for them!
I think Philp has the benefit of being the unknown a bit. Opposition ruckman wouldn't expect much out of the little pocket rocket, but the boy can jump.
How does he go around the ground Teflon...or should I ask Cuzzy seeing as your now involved with Victor...Bahahahaha

Philpy looked good around the ground against us...
I wouldn't be taking too much from the paper P32, I think you'll find there have been a lot of different players named in the Bays best week in week out. Could this be a ploy by their leadership group to fly under the radar or maybe everyone is contributing in patches but not consistantly?
