Not sure Goldberg, i'm not involved close enough to know, but i think he coached one of the junior association sides. I guess if Richards and Fielke don't want to do it, then there's not really a lot of options.

Or even Cross from Mypo. Perhaps he only wanted to be an Assistant, otherwise he would be it!

You're prob best qualified to speak for Mahoney, P32 ;)

Prob both those coaches would rather have a week off and worry about their clubs.

So this week's round:

Probably the first time for the year, where results could go either way (ie 3 50/50 games)

Ramblers v Imperials - Imps have had an edge over Ramblers for a long time now, and with the Chooks having a lot in doubt, i reckon Imps 21 - 30.

Mannum v Mypolonga - Roos look like they've found some form and wont be easy at home, i reckon Mypo just though 1 - 10

Tailem Bend v Meningie - Meningie will be desperate for a win to increase their chances of getting off the bottom of the ladder at the end of the year. I reckon TB at home can win 21 - 30 though.

Damn, that's quite a few players out and now your saying there will be more to add to this list? Will they regain a few of these players next week or are some of them longer term? Any chance of them sitting out at least 3 more weeks!

I haven't heard much about their injuries myself as far as when they'll be back, i will say though that ruck is probably one of the Chooks' greatest weaknesses, so you may not have to worry too much P32;)

GWW your a Tailem Man are u not. What do you think of Dent??

As for injuries, Pantha the chooks are struggling but not too many long term. Zadow the only one who may take a while. Broken bone in foot I think! If finals, would be playing now with injections.

Mypo have been hit hard too by all accounts (7 out). Whisper is they haven't had a full deck yet this year, so that sits well for them if they can keep in touch before getting them back

I am a Tailem supporter Goldberg, but don't get to see many games these days, so my info comes from other sources. The club is fairly happy with Denty from what i can tell, he speaks well at 1/4 time etc, and i think its just a matter for the club and Denty (if he stays on in future years) being patient and better results will come.

2 each I think. Puckridge and Tonkin for Imps and Beard and Fruanfelter for Bluds. Hope I didn't forget anyone!
