Kane Tonkin was out, Ryan Edwards rolled ankle early in 3rd term so Jason Roberts had most of the ruck work for the remander of the game against a great pair of ruckman and David Schencher was coach because Tony Fielke had a school camp and had to leave at quarter time so David wouldnt of known as much about Jervois.

yea not a great sign but would of been a good experiance hasnt had a coaching chance at that level for nearly 10 years now if im right. and yea bayliss did have a day out i could nearly say that every ruck contest i saw he won and he was racking up possies all over the ground where the imperials ruckman struggled. Sam Mahoney took a dive in the dying seconds clearly faked some cramp classic to watch he goes to the ground holds the calf then the ump calls to stop the clock and he jumps up straight away like nothing was wrong.

RMFL pick 5 over 25 so supposing he puts his hand up for it, he is a good chance considering his form of late

"Roberts had to ruck for the remainder of the game", Baylis rucked all of the game bar about 7 minutes so that's no excuse.
"against a great pair of ruckmen", like I said without Fruanfelter (Thanks South Adelaide!) Baylis rucked pretty much the whole game.
"David wouldnt of known as much about Jervois", has been coaching in this league for quite a while from what i've been told, is Tony's assistant and is Association coach. If he doesn't know much about jervois he has obviously been living under a rock with Bin Laden!!!
Considering Jervois were also down a few players in Beard and Fruanfelter, I think the outs from both teams out weighed each other.
Oh and NM, Baylis is 31 years old. Not as old as what Floataboy thinks!

i dont think he did he was trying to waste time but the ump was onto it staight away because imps had a quick goal and it was deep in defence

yes David has been Tony's Assistant for a couple years now if im correct but he wouldnt of had the chance to be making all the descions and the pre game talk and those diffrent things the team cant just run by its self and yea the teams where evenly balanced.

Yeah this is correct, if they don't present a doctors certificate they will be suspended for 2 games.

I've got to ask the question but why is he association coach? Why wouldn't they give the opportunity to another "HEAD coach"??? Who selects the coach? Is this Dalwood just looking after his mates? I would of thought it would be offered to the Coach of the Premiers from the year before or the head coach of the team who sits in the top spot at a certain time, say end of round 8???

i think it will be to hard for Trev Rigney to get it playing out of full foward.
and i was the Jervois Imps game yesterday and it was a thriller right from the start it would of been good to see Imps at full strenth but thats footy. cant wait till round 19

You're probably right there, it wouldn't be easy for him to get votes at FF, but by the sounds of it he's been a standout so far.

Who did Imps have out? And will any be back for the game against the Chooks this week? Sounds like Ramblers have some injury woes of their own anyway.

Who are the Injury woes for Ramblers and are there any others from other clubs?

I was about to ask the same question before. David is the imps under 10 coach and there going to give him the HEAD COACH honours for the RMFL. it just seems weird giving it to some one that has only done A grade assistant work in the last 10 yrs

Not sure who is out for the Chooks atm, i just noticed on Dalwood's write up on line that they had a few out, and from what someone posted on here (floataboy i think it was), they only just beat Mannum yesterday.

i believe their thinking was to give it to someone a little more neutral than a head coach. although being an assistant coach doesnt really fit that category either...
i think it should go to whoever is the most passionate and wants to do it the most, as opposed to the coach of the leading side.
the results in recent assoc games have been pretty ordinary to say the least and it needs a big spark up and therefore a coach who is willing to push it to the next level.
