Norwood didn't play a hell of a lot different to last week when they won a hard fought match.
The only difference was the opposition they met.
Norwood weren't that bad tonight and played very similarly to the previous week when they kicked Norths butt.
The difference was the opposition, the Bays were awesome.
I expected the Bays to win but even the qtr time score flattered Norwood as Glenelg were playing that good.
Glenelg played as good as footy toninght as Ive seen from any SANFL side for 10 years.

Pathetic

Personally don't know how anyone could do it. Even if I was right up against the tunnel when they were walking off I wouldn't say a thing. How anyone could abuse their team when they're walking off his beyond me. Norwood were disgraceful, pathetic ect, ect but I couldn't bring myself to abuse my team. Wouldn't it make you feel sick and a bad supporter? Don't even want to think about it because I couldn't do it. No matter how bad the team is, and they were very bad, they don't deserve that.

I was near the tunnell and didn't witness it but I can tell you I would do it if I felt there was someone in a team who I felt hadn't put in, I hadn't felt the need to since Lucas Herbert left North 4 years ago though.
Norwood supporters shouldn't be downspirited as Glenelg are an awesome unit at the minute.

Can I just add it was a great night at the Parade tonight, it started for me when I dropped my car off to my missus in town and immediatley saw a Port supporter waiting at the bus stop to head to the Parade to watch the game tonight.
We caught the bus together and then went to the Norwood pub where we caught up with Pseudo and many other Bays fans from this site at the pub, during the game I caught up with at least 20 Norwood and Glenelg fans from many different backgrounds from Advertiser journalists, to 5RPH commentators to people I just call mates and it was a great night with a great atmosphere.
IMHO tonight was what SANFL is all about, I didn't see one unsavoury event, I caught up with over 2 dozen people I knew from different parts of my life (including my brother in law and my best friend from high school) and everyone was in great spirtis even to the moment I was dropped off home by Tazz a Norwood supporter with a Bay supporter still in the car.
It was a great night, everyone there tonight was great and I had a ball, people think Im crazy for enjoying games that don't involve North but Im so glad I came out tonight. Thaks to everyone from the 5RPH commentators to the Advertiser Journos to the Footysa guys to the snouts to the Norwood faithful to my fellow moderators from this site and to people who just enjoy this site.
Great night, thank you all. :D
I cop heaps from my North brethren for having so many non North fans but I honestly enjoy nights like tonight more than any normal game.
Thank you all!

I must admit Ive lost passion for North over the last few years but I haven't lost any passion for SANFL footy. I had the choice to stay home and watch my beloved Cats play (thank christ I didnt) and wouldn't have swapped the night for anything.

A huge thanks for Tazz the Norwood supporter in giving me a lift home who saved me a couple of hundred dollars of doing my usual trick and staying out on the town till 3am.

Glenelg are unbelievable though. Some of the link work from the midfield to half forward to goal was awesome. They move the ball so quick and so direct, and their defensive skills are also top notch. Going to be very hard to beat this year.

Nup, agree 100% that wasn't a flag winning performance either as our scoring efficiency, we missed targets going into the forward lines and protection of the ball carrier left a bit to be desired. Plenty of things for us to improve on yet.

Means nothing in the big scheme of things to beat Norwood at Norwood, but it is nice to be out of the record books as having statistically THE WORST ever performance at Norwood Oval

Sitting on the Western side of the ground, looking up to Coopers Hill and for mine it looked like there was more black and gold compared to red and blue at best for Norwood itwas 50:50. I'll conceed there looked to be more Red and blue towards the back around the bar  whereas definately more black and gold to the front.

Umm, I think we might have to order another bandwagon.....

Went down to the Northern end in the last, and it looked more Black n Gold, then Red n Blue...
