Spoke to the 14s coach at mallala , dont mind it in the 14s but not in the 17s

and that's the common theme across the APFL.

I agree droppie. Beer costs way too much, give me $2 schooners at the water tower any time. It wouldn't hurt to put some peanuts on the bar either. Gotta watch the shifty doods though they might drop some acid in the bowl. Then everyone can watch the tower dance the jig.

Association Training tonight,

Do Guys think this squad will be good enough to knock off the NEFL, NAFA and the YPFL? in this carnival at balak?

Shaun Light should replace Lowey's spot in the Rucking spot, But losses like Harvey and Hollitt (who will probably wearing a different Shirt) are difficult to fill.

At least we can rely on a strong and proud feeling of tradition as the guys that pull on the Red, White and Black in the past have all wanted to and thrive on representing this league.

Balaklava vs Virginia this week.

B's maybe very interesting, will the bald seagull play against the big hairy monster?

The hairy one hasn't played for 5 years since an infamous display in a losing gf but is back and has been bog for the last couple of weeks rucking for 4 qtrs.

Can this be confirmed?

Big Gav to be on his best behaviour, even though R.Russo will be a no show.

If they just had a dominate ruckman they would almost be complete.Dont think fraser hit a target all day , but got plenty of it.The game was anyones until five minutes to go i reckon. The tigers still got a few to come back over the coming weeks should get alot stronger but the broad man has to keep flogging them on the track, still not fit . Lucky we had young round up pym running around like an iron man all day and that man lurch both played stella games. The buss seemed a bit under the weather on the weekend lucky for us .

Willy also very handy, Quinten Graham was disappointing though, did a bit but not what you would have expected, needs a preseason me thinks, still got Dalgleish, Cocky and tubby taylor to fit inot their side and a few others i'd reckon. Our Young Rooster brigade, just make too many errors at costly times, maturation required. Yes that was maturation not mas....er...you know!!

The roosters forward line was basically non-functional from what I saw - lots of ball in the area but more rebound from the Tigers - probably had 1 winner up there all day. Agree with you Rooster - lots of ball errors from your boys.

well instead of writing about it on the forum y dont u go fix the problem

Just some interesting information - The first team that won the carnival for the Adelaide Plains - 1996, is as follows -

E.Hocking (Balak), J.Gergoory (Balak)
D.Pinnager (Balak), J.Baker (Utd), D.Williams (HWE), S.McCardle (Utd), A.Dow (Balak), P.Jansen (T.W), T.Thorne (Mallalla), C.Eichner (Utd)),
A.Leo(Virg)
S.McCabe (H.B), B.Kent(Balak), D.Thorton (H.B), M.Bourke (Balak), G.Sutton (Virg), W.Pollard (HWE)

A few good players in that lot.

Sounds like you're describing half your mates from Virginia!

Scott might be a bit of a knob sometimes but he was still a gun in his day. The guy kicked a 100 goals in a year, not bad for a fat slow bloke!

Boxhead was a dominating force for Longies for many years and is still supporting his club by playing ressies when time and body has caught up with him. You dont walk into Centrals league side straight from country footy if you can't play.

Love him or hate him he has been a great club man for United and always turned up when picked for the rep side. Scott is the sort of player that every other club likes to hate because of the impact they have for their own side the same as Andy Michael for Balak, Todd Thorne for Mallala, Alex Leo for Virginia etc the big key forward is always despised by opposition fans.
