Typical reply for someone like you silent bob. name calling often comes from people around your way. you cant just write a normal comment can you. if you people seriously think that wet weather has more skills in it you all really have less idea about footy than i thought.

Almost agree with you sandman. Wet weather footy does even up the contest. Especially for a team that relies on fast clean running football like PAOC. It creates a lot more stoppages and contested ball which even you would have to agree is not a favourite in the parklands.  But it cant be an excuse because all sides will have to play in those conditions again this year, probably a couple more times.

Wet weather shows who is fair dinkum, and who is not.

Stand by what i said, it is not an excuse to lose.

Hate excuses, sign of weakness.

yes i agree we like the running football and were shut down on the weekend. there might be a couple more wet games but we will get use to that. Its always going to be a closer game in the wet and as the season gos on we will get over the line and have grand final celebrations as seen at portland.

Well they celebrated like winning a grand final and your players and crowd looked as though they had just lost one so think things were pretty even. The more stick you give out on this site the bigger the celebrations will get. But i am sure you are sitting back enjoying all the banter

Felch, great game on the weekend, played in great spirts throughout the whole day. Umpiring was a disgrace as always, but i was for both teams.

Who is the young fella (No #5) that basically won the game for you?? He was sensational and could not do a thing wrong all day. Injuries hurt us, we lost our leading goal scorer early in the second quarter, and we had no bench halfway into the third.

Looking forward to Mitcham this week...I have always had a 'thing' for mitcham after they beat us in the D5R final a few years back...

This topic is boring me.
I have had a few people asking already this week about Leigh Forrest and it is only a matter of time before it gets on here. I will only say this once so pay attention.
Leigh 'Paris' Forrest is not following Marc 'Wally' Cox through the exit door at North Haven. He is not leaving SA to join the Royal Show to become a 'carnie' and work on the Gravitron as some people are suggesting due to his rats tail. This is all completely untrue, Leigh simply chooses to have this haircut, it is a lifestyle choice and he has no plans to join the rest of his people on the road.
I hope that puts this issue to rest for good.

Agreed Snakey, it was played in the right spirit. You blokes were dead set stiff, IMO. You played the better, smarter footy for most of the day. Didnt allow us to get any clean possessions around the middle and stoppages.

Young Shane Harris was the bloke who you are talking about - he was fantastic. Kept us in the game early with his tackling and pressure, and he was the only bloke with anything left in the tank in the last 5 minutes, even though he had roved the whole second half without a change.

Lutheran are a good, honest footy side. You guys are a huge chance this week Snakey.

Dont know what your going on about ouzo but losing players is what happens when you go around buying players from other clubs.

So did all your blokes have an extended ski trip while you dropped from Div 2 to Div 4 over the years, because you dont pay players so they couldn't have left the club.

Pretty good rainfall in those years from what i can remember so that would be the reason for the drop in grades. Couldn have been that they are a pretty everage side!

North Haven don't pay players, 5 or so years ago when we were in Div 5 about 20 players from around the area decided that out of the kindness of their hearts would come over and help us out. We didn't even chase them, they just showed up. It was astonishing and has been happening every year since. Must be our Christian background that compels these people to just come out of the woodwork.

Hey Snakey, just curious how Hodges got in the best players ??? I know he kicked 4, but i reckon he only had one possession after half time.
He was very good early, and beat 2 opponents before we put a quicker, agile bloke on him who beat him pretty well.

#18 for you blokes i thought was very good, lightning fast.

Yeah sandman. All the B grade idiots from down port way will have far more to say from the sidelines while sinking piss. This will definately affect the outcome of your games.

Who said the gap between skilled and unskilled players gets bigger in the wet? You idiot!
