Well said, p.a. --- you hit it right on the head. To bag a club like Hackham for finding a player is pretty poor form. I've seen the kid in action and he has definitely got something. Obviously the SFL selectors agree !!! Just getting him named in the Squad will lift the whole club.

Morphett Vale conquered ---- Cove won by about two goals. The Reavills were sensational.
Reynella won by plenty in the end. Aldinga also had a win.

Although Lions led for 90% of the game i thought Sharks outplayed us for 3 quarters. Lions depth a major concern without the south boys dean and the 'big red fire engine' Baxter (who got b.o.g. for south ressies mind you) also mcintyre and bodger out from last weeks team...... To top it off our captain Harris and Doug Clinch injured during the game and unable to return to the field it all turned pear shaped for the lions.

Take heart, Backline ---- I think you'll find your beloved Sharks just beat their lowest against the Lions. The Boot had it at 4-2, which is the same as 3-8 (unless of course the Boot was wrong)
Does anyone remember the drawn game at Hackham a few years ago --- Brighton 2-2, Hackham 1-8. Must have been pretty good weather that day !!!!

I too watched the Emu v Cove game and was a great game, well done to the Cobras they definately wanted it more on the day and to all you ANDO knockers from last year give the bloke a break because this is a very harder and more determined Cove than last year.
Also good on Aldinga on there win, it's a different SFL this year is'nt it

On another note i was just reading GSFL site winging about umpiring standard, there woudnt be too many umpire leagues feeding two associations and I think it's about time we split the umpire panel up to there own leagues and I bet you that 90% of our umpires live in the SFL area, I know it's a bit harsh on GSFL but it would make us a lot stronger in our umpire standard.
Sorry GSFL boys then you can really have a winge or may be pay big bucks for umpires to travel down the road like you do our good footballers.
