Do you think the weather will be a positive or negative for you guys by the way ?

Not sure, we are missing one or two 'in and under players' but we are not really that tall either. Havent really had the opportunity to play in these conditions this year. So tomorrow we will find out.

Glad to hear the triple header went ahead, more clubs should get involved...

I tend to think it will suit the way we play, but, as you said, we havent played in this weather yet this year, so who knows. Our oval should be ok, it never gets muddy as such, might just have a few pools !!!

Make sure you come and say gday at some stage Snakey - i will be running for the A grade, unless i can con someone else to do it !!!

Pretty sure it's not mate, Luke is living in the Riverland, he played for Berri over the last couple of years, could be lining up for Cobdogla if he's playing at all this year.

Were you referring to Borat??

Thanks lightning, pretty common name I guess

hey sand man, if your bloke thinks the the rich man tax on posh cars is hard to deal with, you better tell him to leave it at home when crossing the bridge in the port, the gang of 49 may like it more than he does.

The weather wouldn have suited them buckets, cos someone would have to go in and get a contested ball or even get onto their knees in the bottom of a pack to pick the ball up and we all know that would never happen!! The last time anyone from their side went near a pack was at their Wednesday night Canasta tournament! :D

Surely after 10 or so years at PAC, being on their knees would be the most natural position of all Sturtman.

Somebody told me this saturday night so I don't know how true it is but when Districts played them in Div 2 a few years ago they struggled during the middle of the season because about 5 players were away, skiing. I have heard of this happening with CBCOC aswell. Could be just an urban myth though.

Have heard a similar story too ouzo. Also heard that to practise for when the snow falls they car pool to games in the BMW and have three blokes sit in the back and the guy in the middle practise using his ski poles. Could be just an urban myth though! :D  :D

North Haven will be wearing their mystery third guernsey for the remainder of the season consisting of mainly pastel colours such as lime green and canary yellow as it is apparent that wearing black and white is about as popular with umpires as the holocaust.
