Interesting that there aren't too many backman in the squad. Seems to be all midfielders and ruckmen.

Not wrong about the backmen there, perhaps they're hoping the ball wont get back there!! Who picks the squad? the APFL or the coach?

Umbrellas, drisabones and stout tomorrow - its hissing down here at the moment and doesn't look like stopping - whats it like up at Mallala? Looks like Two Wells, Virginia and Mallala will all be very wet for tomorrow's matches - anyone changes their tips?

Jumbo we use recycled water to water the Virginia oval. The more bolivar water we use then less is pumped into the gulf. Now is the simple enough for you guys?

So how will the association team line up? Having a look at the squad, might be something like this:

FF:B.Montgomery.....H.Walker..........W.Searle
HF:...B.Catford.....Jared Wilson.....R.Montgomerie
C:.....L.Allmond......Joel Wilson........L.Whitwell
HB:......J.Earl...........C.Oliver...........D.Cicollela
FB:....J.Evans...........M.Pym.............R.Savage
R:......S.Light......J.Montgomerie.......L.Whitwell
IC:M.Young.....B.Shimmin.....S.Buss.....J.Levy

I agree S.Jericho would probably be the unluckiest to miss out and also agree there aren't many defenders in the squad. Who were the unlucky ones in this regard? J.Rowlands and S.Dalgleish come to mind

Couple of bookends there - Jed Rowland would be too young at this point in his career but would benefit from the involvement (a future star in APFL in the making) - Dalgleish too old - should be able to find some other defenders if required. Cawrse and Harding spring to mind - serviceable defenders in A's - able to step up to association level is the question.
