BM wrote:Geez I have not heard of Port Presbyterian for a long while.Played one of my first seniors games (15 at the time) against Port Pres at One Almond Tree Flat Oval (?). Being a one eyed swampy I was envious of their jumpers (magpie lace ups).Had a big ruckman who looked like Paul Marrett with the same coke bottle glasses and a tiny ponytailed wingman who would of had 50 kicks on the day. Also played against Taperoo and their green shed change rooms which leaked like buggery when it rained and was always amazed when I went to the Exeter/ Semaphore Centrals ground how 2 clubs could share the same facilities.Always hard games on that side of town but playing teams such as Rivies, Albie United (Maxy Clarke AU legend),Rosies was great.

For the record I don't rate Adelaide Lutheran that highly, will not feature in the finals.

For the record BM North Haven are Port Pres. not Taperoo, we just play on their old oval in case there is any confusion

We had a couple of blokes go and watch Lutheran last week - they reckon they were pretty impressive. They are above us on the ladder, so that might speak for itself.
