Can anyone tell me if Craig Filsell is still having a kick at Noarlunga. Was always in the best last year , but i haven't seen his name in the paper lately.

If they have the same umpires I doubt anyone will get close to them, an average club having a red hot go was given no chance by the fools in orange, at least 5 goals charity I would have guessed, any time they challenged one umpy would crucify them the other one was alright, they had a big forward dominating though blond guy no. 22 I think. They won by about 7 goals I think.

I hope that there was an official from the sfl at lonsdale yesterday and that ****head umpire is never allowed near a football oval again he was an absolute disgrace and ruined what was a good tough game of footy. As CF said anytime lonsdale challenged the ump would go out of his way to make sure morphies would score a cheap goal or two. Morphett vale were well below their best but still found a way to win which is probably why they have won the last 4 flags. I take my hat off to our guys for the effort they put in and hope we can play like that each week which should go a long to beating the top clubs we've struggled to beat in the past.
funny was speakin to one of the christies boys before the game and he reckons that meekins just grabs all the names and throws it at the board and where they end up is where they play rather funny i thought as they were 3-0 at that time so i dont think they have respect for meekins
and you believed that?
to me it sounds like one bloke just tryin to be funny or has no idea.
do u reckon i actually believed him of course he was jokin and he does have an idea he has alot of a grade footy under his belt i just thought it was funny comin from the player before the game about there own coach didnt have a clue

1 ump in particular was terrible and the timing of some of his decisions very suss to say the least but no excuses the better team won on the day.The Emus players and coaches seemed to appreciate the effort our lads put in. It was a good tough fair game of footy with no easy kicks to be had.

On the a positive note how good was the 'big red fire engine' Ash Baxter. The player that opposition supporters love to hate certainly turned it on.

well looking at the results and comments looks like i was right about meekins, he is a joke, it also looks like porties are back in action, and looks like ALDINGA will struggle with all the fan fair from the start of the seaon they are going down hill fast, marion should have been a win and a big loss like that looks to be a long season for the sharks, but Port Noarlunga needed that breakthrough win we got yesterday now it's time to roll on. What went on at the Morphetvale game i picked them by 30 goals.

It pains me to say this DWW but I agree, I would actually go so far to say that Morphett Vales B grade would beat Lonsdales A grade. With the likes of Sampson, Pittman, Joraslaski and Byrne running around.

Now there's some intelligent posting. You will notice I never abuse people on here. I state facts that come from people I know within the Reynella Football Club. And here's another one, I know of one high paid high profile player that isn't all that impressed with the way Reynella goes about its business. He's a first year player so that brings it down to about four or so.

Your kidding right? The Lions were the only team to be infront of Morphies at half time last year. They always seem to put up a decent fight against them. The lions have had quite a few injuries to 1st choice players so far this season but with a couple of them coming back and the two South boys playing, i doubt it'll be the massive blow out that you're predicting. You Morphies boys really need to get off your high horse!

Who cares if Lonsdale were up at half time, they still lost right? And i'm pretty sure the Valley got within 2 points, but you don't hear them bragging. Morphett Vale by plenty i think!

Bass player... spot on.... no doubt the lions are MV's bogey side. Close game by the looks of it.

Don't agree that Aldinga is going downhill. Don't judge them on one bad quarter in one round (they were still in the match at the last change). Who on here has never had a bad day ???
Even if they don't beat any other side bar Hackham this year they could still be a better side than last year. Morphie Park have improved massively, so falling back behind them does not necessarily mean the Sharks are going backwards. The margins, and the contests are what you look at.
The last two weeks might have told us a bit about Marion anyway. The Roos have won all bar that one.

Yep, was a great game. The Lions really gave it to Morphies. The scores should have been much closer if it wasn't for quite a few dodgy umpiring decisions. But at the end of the day, you can't control that - the boys just need to keep their heads up and play with the same intensity and heart against the rest of the league. Don't be surprised if the Lions knock off one of the top 5 this year.

Yep Morphies put in a fairly horrid and disinterested performance on Saturday, but fairplay to the Lions they were well up for it and keen as right from the first bounce. We were without Pollard and Smith and lost Gaskin in the first quarter, but no excuses from our camp, Lonsdale wanted it more and we were grateful to come away with the points.

Was impressed with the Lions attack on the ball and also their goalkicking, they seemed to be flying in from everywhere.

I know its an old point but still not impressed with that oval tho, some huge cracks out there that Tony Grieg would have lost the keys, pen, and even the Julius Marlow's in!

Who saw the Bombers Vs Cove Game?

The result was pretty close so it must have been a cracker of a game.

Be gratefull you only have to play on it once a year. Try training twice a week and playing half the games on it each year
