Hargs vs Chambo

Postby pipers » Sun May 11, 2008 10:37 pm

Wedgie alerted me to the fact they are currently locked in a neck-and-neck battle in goalkicking over their careers. I think after this Round, Chambo is ahead by 2 (?) Spelly?

A bit like Warnie and Murali...

And we think Chambo is Murali...

Can we add AFL goals to the tally to break the deadlock?

Cool, looking at averages and recent form its an absolute no brainer as to who should be the full forward in the State Team, congratulations Hargs! :D

and Port have played one less game than Sturt so that makes Hargs 30 to Chambos 32 look better

Hargs was on 5AA a few weeks ago and he sounded very settled and positive about 2008. He said he wanted to make up for last season which was interrupted with injury. He also talked about his young family and how he had settled down off the field since they came along.

I thought after last year he'd retire and take some coin in the country .... but, after hearing him speak, its no surprise to me he is doing so well and good on him for that.

As for Chambo, as annoying as the Sturt fans can be about him, I'd still have him at FF ahead of Hargs. He's a class act at SANFL level.

I think North would take anyone to play at FF for them now, it seems a bit like the Alleway show in the forward line with no supporting cast.

I think a young bloke that we bring back into league next week called Nick Gill might be able to support Damon White and Clinton Alleway quite nicely, but thanks for your concern.

And judging by the photo below Hargs might suffer from the same problem as Warnie...
