Only got back there for the last quarter because of a family emerg however they looked ok...they will finish in the top five i'd say. EP played pretty poor footy, particlularly in the back half. Some good forwards with a nice grab at Para Hills.

I don't think they will compete too much come september but certainly won't disgrace themselves this year. Just my honest opinion.

Wasn't a bad game, lot better effort by the boys this week...

FP kicked the first 2, then we kicked the next 4 to be 2 up at 1/4 time. FP kicked 5 goal to nothing in the second quarter which is where we lost the game. Got the margin back to 2 goals at 3/4 time and had our chances in the last quarter to put more scoreboard pressure on, but didn't take them and they kicked a few towards the end to make it 6 the difference.

Shrek may have seen it differently?

For those of you missing the crux of this conversation The Big Shrek made a claim that the hierarchy at Adelaide Uni Football Club approached Sean Jackson to sound him out on what his plans were in 08 way back in September 07. This is after that same hierarchy sacked him at the end of 04 for completely undermining those that run the place and after being sacked for exactly the same type disrespect for those at Gepps Cross.
He made this claim after I suggested Jackson is up to his old tricks again at Flinders Park by alienating himself and the players from those that have a clubs welfare at heart.
Big Shrek, I'll give you my tip now and only time will tell, after Jacko is sacked from Flinders Park and whether that be tomorrow or the end of the year I don't know but he will never get another job in the Amateur League again at least by a club with half an ounce of self respect.

Rotter, I think you may have nailed TBS with this one. Ask anyone at Gepps if they would have him back and why not, I bet the answer is a resounding no!!

I was told that he directed the players to avoid speaking to any club members as they were nothing but "a mob of drunks".
Nice way to get offside with the people who actually support the club that pays his coaching fee (tax free)+ other expenses, don't you think?
Definitely has a problem Jacko, something to do with rating himself as a much better person than everyone else

Not sure mate, hasn't played since 1st quarter of round three....might have to return through the C's. Battle of tactics, nah the assistant knows his role and will leave that to the main man....gee you would be lucky to outcoach Jacko.....just ask him!!!!!

Massive game this week. We will set up our run to the GF with a win over the Eastern Park ferals this week.

Jai Collins was looking forward to the job on Donners. He will be very disappointed if he doesn't get the chance to whoop him!

BREAKING NEWS FROM SALISBURY WEST

Salisbury West have offered Scott Hodges $15k to coach them for the remainder of the season. Apparently they wanted someone ugly enough that there would be no danger of the player's wives rooting him.

According to my sources the big man has refused the offer at this stage.
