Nice work CT.

Honestly I'd put my money on the Emus, not saying that they would be a more talented group of players but simple fact is they play together week in week out. A rep side might have 2 or 3 trainings together and have a lot less of an idea how each other plays. Given enough time to train together the Rep side would probably win but that's not likely to happen.

As for Morphies V The Rest... I don't think so, maybe if the General was similar to Demetriou and thought everything revolved around Morphett Vale (similar to him and Victoria) then we might have a game...

Think we might be taking things a little too far here boys... CT has said earlier that it is only Rd 3, please remember this, anything can happen in this great game of ours... It has been a great start to the year by the club but there would barely be a player involved that doens't know how much work ahead there still is... I can't speak for the majority of the playing group but the carrot of 5 in a row to exceed the previous club record is quite a mouth watering proposition... Plenty of time yet for the other challengers to stake their claim...

Seriously Cove will certainly be a threat, Reynella will bounce back after the last 2 weeks, Valley haven't done a thing wrong and Brighton will be around the mark... This year's premiership is a long way from being won...

How many has he kicked in the 3 games so far?
heard he is a big powerful boy which should be a good match up for smithy!!
Beat the whites of eggs with a pinch of salt until stiff...Continue beating, gradually adding sugar, vinegar and vanilla, until of thick consistency.

Luke McDonnell, from Mitchell Park. Wooed to the Valley with the promise of high level footy which he'll certainly get against the top SFL powers. He was very impressive in the Valley's pre-season 20-20 comp, marking strongly and kicking big bags, some from well out. He'll go close to 100 with the Viking midfield ahead of him. Kicked six in each of first two rounds, but managed just one against the Shoes with McKenzie slamming six from centre-half-forward.
His battle with Smithy should be worth watching.

If it is dry (which is should be) the Emus will kick well above 30.... Maybe even in the 40+ area.....

Pollard should kick well over 10 goals....

Lonsdale are really struggling....

Dont Lonsdale have a couple of lads out at South Adelaide? Surely these boys will be fronting up for Lonsdale this week with the Panthers having the bye? I hope so, would give the Lions a much needed confidence boost.

Your kidding right? The Lions were the only team to be infront of Morphies at half time last year. They always seem to put up a decent fight against them. The lions have had quite a few injuries to 1st choice players so far this season but with a couple of them coming back and the two South boys playing, i doubt it'll be the massive blow out that you're predicting. You Morphies boys really need to get off your high horse!

How does 1 person making a statement constitute us all having that idea?? Personally I hope they do win by 40 goals to shove it up blokes like you, but has anyone ever kicked 40 goals on that terrible patch of grass they call a home ground?

An interesting round this week i reckon!
Christies Beach v Porties - is Bachmann back playing for the Saints this weekend, and will he be enough to get them over the line against the so far dissapointing Cockledivers?
Twisties vs Noarlunga - Will the Twisties resurgence continue, and how much difference to the Shoes does having big Comer back make?
Hackham vs Flaggies - The Bushpigs havent started too flash, will the Kelly gang be gunning for Hackham's 1st win this weekend? **look for the excellent headlines "Kelly gang lynched" should things go pear shaped**
Cove vs Brighton - should be a cracker!
Marion vs Aldinga - Marion are on the board, but will have a tough battle with the ever improving Aldinga Shrives sorry Sharks.
Lonsdale vs Emus - Lonsdale with their South boys back, Emus rarely fire down at Morphett Vale high school
Happy Valley vs Reynella - a great chance to see how good Happy Valley really are, and Reynella should be desperate not to lose 3 on the trot.
Not giving my tips away, as am still chasing Screech on http://www.sflfootytips.somee.com !!!

Speaking of the Morphett Vale backline and the lack of goals being kicked against them by the "big name" forwards, when was the last time anyone kicked a bag against them?

Chopper is taking a year out. Had a few injury concerns at the end of last year and being self employed i think is worried that if he were to get injured then it could become costly. Saying that i think he might be getting a touch antsy on the sidelines and would be a handy inclusion in the forward pocket if he decided to change his mind (his 2nd quarter against the valleys in the finals last year was as good a 1/4 as i've ever seen anyone play)

To answer a previous question the last big bag i can remember a player kicking against the emus was Bomber ryan for cove back in 2005 (i think he kicked 9 and cove still lost by at least 80 points)

I had the Emus Gav Allen pointed out to me the other day. Is this guy the biggest Footballer ever? What Position does he play? looking at him doesnt look the mobile type but when you take up half a field with 1 arm you dont need to move much. How does he go out there wouldn't pick him as a footballer first look
