Gotta pay their recruits from last season still apparently.

Not going to happen anyway. Why, are you from Salisbury West ?

Haha, still pissed at the size of the six on of the Kilburn boys hit me for. it was a good ball, the bat premeditiates a walk down the wicket and dispatches down the ground with the wind. i can tell you Nixon it was BIG, not quite up to Big Dan and Drews hits at Glenelg but up there.

As big as Critch's off Al Williams at Loxton RB?

Hahaha..... You'd have to be pretty silly to follow him. And if you're thinking of Chad McInnes, he aint playing cricket at all next season.....its a pity, quality keeper. His brother may be leaving though, but not to Kilburn, it will be a Premier League club.

Have heard a rumour that ATCA will not run Junior Cricket next season and that teams will be sent to there nearest Junior Cricket Association.

I see this as a negative that it will mix hard wicket and turf clubs in together but then again the benefit will be people running junior cricket with that being there sole interest.

Will be interesting to see whether this can be done this season or not? Having been involved heavily with ATCA Cricket at a Junior Level as a Delegate you have a couple meeting a year at the start to get the program done and that is it and it plays 2nd fiddle to Senior Cricket so it can only do Junior Cricket good.

Few stories already circulating about comings and goings from certain clubs. Many batsmen will be relieved if big Stewie Whitehouse has indeed retired and have also heard that Higgins and Christophers are unlikely to continue next season. Grange on the hunt for Mark Harrity and Jarrad Taylor from West Torrens is being courted by Woodville Rechabites.....

Goodwood have lost opening bat and former association century maker Brad Holt who is overseas.

Unley have it up on the ATCA and their web site that Watson is there, so you would think it is true.

They're after Wazz, Oz and Parko. Must have some coinage floating around. You can't buy a Broken Hill experience though RW - they're going nowhere......

Time will tell I guess but lets hope that the ATCA have learnt from their past mistakes and hired the person with the right credentials for the job and not based their appointment on ones cricketing proess and status.
