Iron Fist, Portland are young but I would say Haven younger possibly. On saturday 8 players 18 or younger and only 5 above 25. I've had a look to confirm and the average age for saturday was 22.47619 years of age.

Will have to bring back Auchterlonie, Anderson, Chamberlain, Lawson, Leal, Lees and Powell That'll boost it back up Ouzo

LMA - Im sure some of those old boys would be glad to get a mention. Here's an update Auchterlonie - Playing B's getting fitness back, Anderson - M.I.A., Chamberlain - A Grade Runner (if you can call it that), Lawson - B Grade player coach, Leal - B Grade injured foot but drinking arm has never been in better shape, Lees - Olympic Dam and Powell - Never heard of him. Unless you mean Colin Powell who was a handy back flanker but since he got the Job in the Whitehouse haven't seen too much of him. I did hear he was playing in a washington team though.

Not sure why he wasn't playing this week for Ports but he is VC for U/19's so we dont expect to see him much at North Haven.

Yeah, i think you are right.

Thats alot of young blokes - a third of your side. Long, hard season will take its toll on them i reckon, but all looks good for the future.

Dont think so, to be honest, i didnt really notice who rucked for them, just know they got beaten there. Rivers didnt play for them either.

Is he injured or has he told the coach to stick it too along with most of the other Port Augusta recruits?

speaking of their coach he was a dead set toss bag against us Rd 1. Has he changed yet?

Im guessing injured, i dont know anything about any other issues ???

Didnt have any probs with their coach either, but to be honest we were pretty focused on winning the game and didnt really have time to exchange barbs with their coaching group. I was runner again, and had a couple of 'words' their runner, but all good fun though

Alby playing for sollies in the SGL

Dolphins had Hegarty, Rivers, russell out injured and couple other players as well didn't play.

Hegarty played.

There are two Hegarty, josh and Brian.

The one I was talking about was josh who may have won or came second in the best and fairest last year.

You could be right felch but you've got to play the young fellas, it's the only way they will improve i don't think leaving them in B Grade will do them much good and it's so hard to attract juniors that you have to do the right thing by them. Besides all of them are good enough so they should play. The season might be long and hard but younger blokes pull up the next day a lot easier and not going to get any slower if anything they would have adjusted to the bigger players by the end of the season and will only get better.
It's going to be a tough one for Ethelton, Riverside, Alberton United this week felch PAOC the best team iv'e seen in Div 4. Havens at fitzroys mound is always a tough one, looking forward to it. Anyone know what fitzroy's b's are like, our b's need a win this week to keep in touch with the 5.

Wow sounds like u & Felch are actually getting along & having decent conversations now, whats happened in the last week?

Ouzo u play B's? if so what number are u as il keep an eye out for ya on the ground? yeah im looking forward to the clash with u boys this weekend!

We have dropped 2 games in the B's we probally should of been closer in & is no disrespect to the teams we played as they were just to good on the days against us, is just the way we have dropped them was disappointing thing so answering your question Ouzo when we are on we are on but when we are off we are off! Ask Portland, CBC, Pultney or Unley for more info!

Portland & Paoc both undefeated in the Ressie's good luck Felch, sorry i think u may need it as seen bit of Paoc C grade last weekend & they prob give any B grade sides a run for their money!
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

[quote="dudleydawson"]Portland are the most under achieved club ever to play in the Amature League
Watched them the other week against Nth haven and sorry felch their A grade side is crap
I agree with playing kids and developing the club but find some kids who can play, and maybe a coach who has some idea on what to do in a match winning situation, mind you their coaching appointments have never been great,
Russell Evans - Too good to coach A4 footy
Brenton Klabe - sacked after 3 games
Gavin Crack - Won a flag in a 2 sided competition
Greaham McInerney - Crap
Paul Marshall - great player, couldnt coach
Darren Hams - why did PAMFC get rid of him?
Current Coach - Crap
This club will be in A7 before to long[/quote

Gee Dudley sounds like your a good club man then, If you played for them why come out and bag them, or are you just trolling for reactions. Without a doubt the best coach that coached the PFC was Russell Evans but results will show that the most successful was G Crack. I think your leaving 1 bloke out too and Thats Mark Moody. Absolute crap that he didnt score the top job at some stage in Portlands history. As for the rest no support from the committee in terms of finance structure vision contributes to a coaches demise. Some of those coaches you mention especially one hung out to dry by some narrow minded people in high positions.

Agree, there are a lot more positives than negatives in playing the young blokes. I still think having 1/3 of your side under 19 isnt ideal, but with a few older guys coming back in that might get balanced up. I suppose if you keep winning though, it doesnt matter.

It should be a good game between your B's and Fitzroy - both sides have a crack for sure. I would lean towards Fitzroy, just.

We definately have a tough job this week, both grades. It seems like everyone else has conceded that PAOC have won the flag already, so we probably should just forfeit then
Seriously though,we will have a crack at them and see what happens.
We are playing for top spot in the ressies, they have smashed some teams, we have scraped home in most of ours. Quietly confident we can give them a shake though.
