Unfortunately it was another average performance by the umps, one in particular who did his best to influence the result. It was great to get up for 'maddog' who tore a hammy but reappeared late in the game to guide the saints to victory in his 250th. I heard Saintbackline also kicked 4 and set up another 8 goals for Novasel.
.Well done to the Riddler who led the saints to a well deserved victory in the B's/

Was good to finally get a win, B's have been playing good footy just coming up against quality opposition...look forward to SMOSH this week another big test for the kids.

Apart from the fact you steaming out of FF at 100m/ph straight into the man in orange who ran in your way nearly dislocating your shoulder and then on top of it having a free kick paid against you for it

Thanks to everyone over at St Pauls yesterday that made me feel very welcome. Well done on the win and to Griffo who nearly ended up spending his 250th on the bench. :(

I also managed to have a chat to the Angle Vale coach Steve, who is a really nice bloke.. a gentle giant even.. . Its just a shame we couldn't get them in their proper jumpers due to the clash.

Our pleasure FC, you're always welcome and remember "WE LOVE GRASSROOTS"

Ash is going great guns at the moment....played CHB in the A's on the weekend and was brilliant i thought, provides plenty of run and uses the ball very well.

He may settle in the B's for the rest as he thinks his body can't cope with the pace of A grade week in week out but we'll see what happens.

And he's a top bloke aswell.

Think you may have to put on some glasses mate.

Was just trying to put some pressure on the lad who was kicking for goal, nothing malicious in that at all. It was just very unfortunate he got hurt. Play On.
