Obviously a very misleading source you have Hustler as once again Wes's name was in the best players at Marion.

Emus undefeated premiers again. Made Reynella look like a bottom 8 side.

Wouldn't go that far lot of footy to be played yet. I think a few questions need to be asked of their "gun" recruits though! Butcher didn't go near a contest all day and seemed happy to get a cheap kick out the back only to turn it over with the delivery. Could be a few down at the TEAC warehouse this morning handing their Plasmas back.

Milo once again failed to stand up when it counted still yet to see him perform in a big game.

Big call. I did see Milo kick 5 or 6 in a prelim last year against cove. I thought that would have counted as a big game. I didnt see the game on the weekend but if your midfield is getting smashed you can hardley blame your FFwd.

Cove didn't play in a Prelim last year and Reynella lost to Brighton.

Wouldn't say their midfield got smashed definitely thought he had the opportunities but Smith had his measure all day. Not saying he isn't a good player just tends not to have as big an influence as he should in these games. I think the big issue was Reynellas body language in the last quarter absolutely terrible with most seeming to bite back at jibes from the crowd.

Fair call. Players are & should be judged on big games.

Ben Moore learnt (the hard way) the one golden rule in the SFL.... dont EVER try and run around Shane Fishlock! He tried it twice and was wrapped up holding the ball in textbook Fishlock tackles, when you see your marquee recruit stitched up like that it sets the tone for the day!

Reynella missed some very easy set shots in the 2nd quarter and should have gone in closer at half time to give themselves a chance, but overall they were very disappointing it has to be said. Its hard to see where they go from here with their Bs also comprehensively beaten, and their 18s were thrashed.

One bloke that also had his colours lowered considerably was Farrier, Mike Zaluski (O/Seas return) absolutely killed him all day, seemed when they kicked out from goal Farrier was the option 90% of the time.

Prescott did an ankle about 10 minutes into the first. Interesting to see how many he misses. Reynella will finsih in the top 6 in A's, b's and 18's, don't think there is any doubt there, but whether or not any of them will be a premiership threat is another question. They definately need to get their sh*t together.

I dont think Bradshaw played yesterday did he? He's a quality but i think reynella will need more then that. Asides from Ben Moore these new recruits were woeful. I think 1 player reynella will miss is sitters.

Ahh Delicious my old foe. Funny you should mention POT.

Saw the Fishlock tackle and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone! That kid will have that in the back of his mind everytime he fronts up against the Emus now.

If anyone wonders why Morphies players dont leave the club, its pretty simple really. Yes its an awesome club atmosphere to be around, but the main reason is that if you do leave Morphett Vale and play at another club, you may put yourself in a situation where one day you will be snapped in half by a perfectly legal tackle from Shane Fishlock. Its just not worth the risk!

With all this talk of Reynella and Morphies. ie. If Morphies beat Reynella by so much no one will go near them.
Are Cove Flying under the radar.
They did beat reynella last week also.
They have been a good team the past few years that have stumbled at finals time. Surely this cannot go on for ever. bit too early to be calling undefeated premiers again.... we are only 3 games into the season.
One thing is for sure I wont be missing the game in 2 weeks time (emus vs cobras) should be a belter.
On the other hand if the emus played as good as everyone is saying on here the cobras will have to be on there game!!!!
Beat the whites of eggs with a pinch of salt until stiff...Continue beating, gradually adding sugar, vinegar and vanilla, until of thick consistency.

What a great player he has been for Morphies, 40 this year i think and still running around crashing in like a 25 year old... Should bring up his 300th "A" grade game for the club in the next couple months, what an achievement that will be...

Anyway Mex if I may call you Mex. I was at the game yesterday and Zaluski to me only appeared to stop Farrier because the Reynella player has been battling the flu in the past week?

Just thought i would let you all know Manhoods knee isn't as bad as first thought, also who are the onballers going to be for the association team this year with Ben Plasma screen Moore now playing in the league will he play? i also heard that Meekins from Christies is going around still trying to poach players even after the game, i heard he lured one of the new Aldinga recruits into the visitors rooms after the game on the weekend.

Also i heard he really can't coach and has had a couple of lucky wins, is it true no Bachmann no Christies.

Christies results have surpirsed me a bit this year, i had them bottom 3-4... Let's just say Tony Meekins senior coaching record speaks for itself...

Nice diagnosis Ex Diver, or should that be Ex Doctor? A good bloke Fazz, but if symptoms of the flu include:
- not getting a kick
- being outmarked
- being run off
then yep poor Fazz has the flu alright. Infact if he managed to spread the flu on to some of the Morphies boys then that would be his only damaging act of the game!
