Not if you coach them Dudley.
Why don't you have a crack, you seem to know it all.

Dudley "Booger" Dawson: Did you get in her pants?
Gilbert Lowe: She's not that kind of a girl, Booger.
Dudley "Booger" Dawson: Why, does she have a penis?

That is a bit harsh Dudley!! Sound like you may have some sour grapes toward the club? Maybe you couldnt get an A grade game out there and ya feel a bit dejected???

Played A grade for the club mate, back when we thought the club would go somewhere, that was 10 yrs ago and the club has done nothing

One premiership in 10yrs is not a total disgrace. Better than a lot of clubs getting around

Don,t know much about portland,s history but I agree with Booga about their current coach. The bloke got the arse from Unley, chips were down turned on his players. Surely there had to be a better candidate.

Should have more than 1 considering a merger of 3 clubs

Portland usually go for the cheapest coach so they can keep all their money in the community clubs bank. For the most expensine drinks in Adelaide head to the Portland Football club bar. The management down there dont like to give much back to the players or members and this is why lots and lots of players have left over the years.

You played back when you thought the club would go somewhere, well what happened? You sound like you want to blame someone else for you & your team mates failures (coach) instead of looking in the mirror at home & seeing the real problem.
If all these players didn't walk, they may well of won a flag or two.
If yuz supported your coaches instead of slagging them.

There was never a problem with myself, the team or the coach, we done what we could with what we had.
The truth is that there is no point having dollars in the bank and being in A4, or A5 next year, it costs money to go anywhere in amature footy, dig up trhe vault, spend some money and premierships will follow

I agree with you about the $$ Dudley. Think it may be a tad late though for the club, after the 3 teams merged and won 2000 premiership it needed to be continued but instead they have gone backwards. I dont blame the coaches, i blame the Management of the club for how it is being run.

haven solid on the weekend not brilliant but with the youngest team in div 4 should improve. felch has been celebrating portlands 1st win very hard, he was last seen passed out in a park with todd mckenney.

What were the Dolphins like on the weekend Felch? I wouldn't have thought they would have dropped so far off the mark this year seeing as they have only just come down from Div 3. Where are they lacking? They used to have a pretty good midfield, so very handy forwards and a very solid backline. I know a couple of the older players have finished up, but I would've thought some of the younger blokes would have stepped up nicely to fill the void.

I wasnt overly impressed with them, mind you, we finally put 4 good quarters of footy together and didnt really allow them to play well. Konopka looked dangerous up forward when they got it to him. Matheson was good for them too (#16 i think ?). We beat them all day in the ruck, which obviously helped us get first use. They had a bad day, but, like i said, we had a very good day.
