Great win by St Pauls against Angle Vale today. Full credit to Angle Vale, they never went away and made the undermanned saints earn their win today. Unfortunately it was another average performance by the umps, one in particular who did his best to influence the result. It was great to get up for 'maddog' who tore a hammy but reappeared late in the game to guide the saints to victory in his 250th. I heard Saintbackline also kicked 4 and set up another 8 goals for Novasel.
.Well done to the Riddler who led the saints to a well deserved victory in the B's/

Agreed, St Pauls just played a more free flowing game of football and managed to save the ball in the last line of Angle Vales defence on several occasions which was the main thing that saved them I reckon.

Thanks to everyone over at St Pauls yesterday that made me feel very welcome. Well done on the win and to Griffo who nearly ended up spending his 250th on the bench. :(

I also managed to have a chat to the Angle Vale coach Steve, who is a really nice bloke.. a gentle giant even.. . Its just a shame we couldn't get them in their proper jumpers due to the clash.

It was great to get up for a bloke who given 15+ years to one club, bit of a shame Griffo spent most of the game on the bench.
