are you asking a question?? or making a statement?? rams52 hey!! interesting name! not from cowell by any chance are you??

ravendale is by far the worst venue to spectate football from!! a wasted side of oval, cars sittin on the fence with no people in them, and a 60 000 score board that hasnt worked for ... let me see atleast a month that i know of!! whats the hold up??? does it use to much electricity or something?? charge an extra dollar on the gate then and get it working!
but they do have good lights

12 for tasmans !! can play.

see old no 5 for tasmans didnt get to close to the ball and pulled out of any hard ball gets. must have been in the mind of who was going to smash him.

Good crowd down behind the goals HS and tips nice to hear a cheer when i was down that end. dead quiet down the other end though!!! :?
If Ravendale wants it to be the best place in lincoln to play football then they need to get it right for the supporters too. No way it would ever be a better spot than Centenery for Mortlock.

No. 12 for Tasmans was Jamie Honner, he absolutely dominated and was the difference. Very handy for Tasmans picking up a 21 year old CHF who played a few league games for West Adelaide last year. Another new recruit for them in Haydon Mckinlay was also very good and looks like a very handy player across half back. Very good crowd, the standard of footy was very good and easily the best game of the year so far. Tasmans would probably have the best forward line in the comp at the moment with Honner, Wagner and MJ up there. Great start for the year for Tasmans and are now 2 from 2. I thought Bostons were still pretty good and had their chances to win the game. They could have easily been 2 and zip if a few things had gone their way over the last couple of weeks.

CMH - What kind of comment is that about No. 5? You are on here saying that everyone at Bostons is trying to change the culture of the club and then you go and say something stupid like that. I am sure No. 5 wouldn't mind that he didn't get too much of the ball seeing as his side just beat yours by 5 goals. You would expect that sought of comment from "Tiger 07".

I must admit #5 did pull out on many occasions and hung out wide but he did kick 3 useful goals early which set up the win for them. He had the last laugh at us CMH. His celebrations were way over the top though and they did get under my skin.
From what I saw we dont have the depth in the midfield. Apart from the explose Miller we dont have much. Sunny will be a good player but just doesnt have enough presence about him yet. Dunn on a wing is a ball watcher and not a smart footballer and Pickett showed signs but is in the same mould as Dunn and far to loose across half back. I think Marty got it wrong early letting Ross C go up in the midfield on his own and we had a loose man down back. You cannot leave a player of this ilk to run around unattended?
Joel needs to play at CHF!!! and I was unsure why Brett was left on Honner for so long?
We need to get back to basics and re-group.
Umpiring good but you can tell Forrest has never played the game. As for the venue - Very ordinary!

This guy warrants everything he gets Cove07, dont try and justify being nice to him! and yes I back up CMHs comment as would everyone at bostons and anyone who has ever seen the bloke play. maybe you should only comment on things you know about.

Cove07 i was just stating that he would have been thinking that and we didnt do anything at all. he is actually a good bloke and not that much of a tough guy. he has thrown a cheap shot a few times but will be the first to say sorry.

T07 i think fitness killed us in the end. We ran out of legs in the last quarter.

Waybacks get over mallee park in an entertaining game at centenary. good crowd, oval in great nick and a open game.
waybacks by a couple of goals but mallee looked to have a few out and to be honest they were robbed with a vital decision late in the game involving Tessman running 'to far' into an open goal.
lack of discipline a major factor aswell with roderick the main culprit again.
Anyscores from wangary AG, steakn, stieger?

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

good thing about that win cu is that mallees aren't the only ones to have a grade players to come back in. off the top of my head i can think of 7 or 8 players who after a run through the reserves will be back into the a grade, and these boys aren't just fringe players. i think every club at this early stage of the season is the same, with players to come back in. the standard of lincoln footy looks good early. have had the chance to sit with some guys from other leauges during the early games and they were quite surprised at the level of footy that we were watching. must admit, have had itchy feet.

Yeah we played another good three quarters today, but Rangers played four quarters and got the points. We went down by i think around twenty odd points in the end but should have been closer, we let them kick a couple with minutes left. A good tough game again with the majority of players playing hard at it tough footy. Chad Owen very unfortunate to get reported, definately a free kick, but that was about it. Cocksy getting sent of for ten minutes in second quarter was very costly, but that was pretty soft as well. Disappointing not to get a win, but some very promising signs.

Are waybacks the real deal? are they just up and running at the moment. They seem to have only a couple of name players and it is hard to rate them as the best team in the competition on the list they have. I doubt we will hear much from them when things get tougher later in the year as I havent seen to many premierships won in April off the rails

Was a very hard and physical encounter on Saturday, and both sides will take a fair bit out of the game.
As for Tesman running too far, It probably was a 50/50 call. The fact that he took the footy from outside 50 and ran to 20m out might just suggest that the umpire got it right.
Mallees are very fit, and ran the game out to the very end.
Both Franklins played, and did more than enough to justify their position. They got amongst the goals as well.

bluestheboy Tessman did give a handball and get it back while running from the 50 to the 20. Take the lucky decision while you can as Im sure there will be a day when you get a bad one.
I think we have a very even competition besides Lincoln South but even they have proven competative in both matches. Tasmans have not beaten much but must be held in high regard as they look solid all over the ground. Bostons will get better and we know the top 3 sides will be there come finals time.
Has anyone's predictions changed on who will miss the finals this season? looks like bostons and lincoln south to me.

Chad Owen will not get any games. field umpire was watching the contest and let it go. few seconds later, soft as butter slightly late contact to a MR player and umpire has a brain explosion and sends cocks off for 10 minutes, no report made. free kick would of been a definite goal to LS.

Whats going on with the umpires alredy this season? Maybe they should have been doing the hard yards recruiting like the clubs instead of just waiting for blokes to turn up.
What the go with having a 15 year old do a whole game of U17s by himself. He was terrible in the Bs the night before and i know he is young and still learning but should have had an experienced umpire with him.
